First Akane has to become used to the idea of kidnapping someone. At 12 years old she looks at her future self and realizes that it was her who kidnapped 9 people.

Then she has to become used to the idea of killing someone. She has to prepare the bombs, even if it makes her sick to remember the gore she witnessed. She has to buy the soporil. She has to learn how to drug people. And she can and does have Aoi learn too, but this is still her plan. She read her own note that says "I must punish them. For the innocent lives they sacrificed." and she knows that her own life is one of the "innocent lives," but by the time that she doles out the punishment she will no longer be innocent.

Third, she must be okay with leaving it all behind. After carrying it out, she has to leave Junpei, even though she loves him. Aoi is with her, and they leave together, and that's the end of it. Ace is in the trunk and she has nothing to do with him anymore.

But then, she also has to get used to the idea that it will never be the end. She has a connection to the morphogenetic field now, and a self sacrificing personality, and she knows she has to keep fighting. If she doesn't, then everything will go wrong. She will keep making Nonary Games until Sigma's loop closes.

And then she has to realize that if it's not the end, that she can do things better in a different timeline. She will kidnap Sigma and she will set him on a path that she must complete. She has to watch people die and do nothing but prepare for some other timeline where things will be better. She will kidnap more people. she will trap them in a future they never asked for. She will steal years from their lives. She will lie to them. And this very action hardened her in a different way than her 9 year inevitable revenge did, but it's still just another thing she's learned to live with. another thing she has to do.

Akane has to become used to the idea of not having control. Not in her future, and not in the Decision Game.

And then, eventually, Akane will have to realize that she needs to look for not only just her survival, but also her happiness. She doesn't have to be the girl in the incinerator seeking a way out forever.
