Game Dev Day 1

Today marks the first “REAL” day that I am I a true Game Developer. Everybody  takes that first step to create a new path and today is that day. I have the classic Christmas in the 80′s of unwrapping a Nintendo Entertainment System. 

What king of Game should I make? I grew up on Nintendo and SNES holds a close space in my heart. Favorite game from my Childhood would be Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past, Final Fantasy 6 and Secret of Mana. 

Of those I really liked the Multi-Player of Secret of Mana. The Couch 3 player co-op was fun and all, until your one newb friend is still learning how to get out of the ring menu. The joy we had choosing which weapon we would use. The “crunch” feeling when you killed and enemy when swinging swords, axes and spears. We would spam the screen with magic spell after magic spell until everything was dead or we were out of Faerie Walnuts. 

Game Development Idea

Top down Action RPG. With multiplayer online co-op up to three players.
