PSA: I've seen people (on Facebook overwatch community) who say kids need to learn to not speak/play/ be apart of gaming until they're older by being bullied in video games and it needs to stop. I've encountered a bunch of instances especially in overwatch where kids aren't taken seriously and everyone just considers it a loss when they hear a kid pop up or blame them for losing the game, and it's just unacceptable behavior. I never use a mic , but if I hear a kid on, I will talk to them whether they're behaving poorly or not, because you as someone who is older than them needs to set the standard to create a fun and kind gaming environment otherwise you're just contributing to the vicious cycle because that kid is going to grow up thinking verbal abuse is acceptable. and you can say that it's not your responsibility to cater to kids and their feelings but why would you want to be a bully? You have no idea what that kid is going through. Maybe he or she has trouble speaking in real life and is trying to gain confidence by engaging with people online. Maybe video games are their escape from whatever is happening to them in their daily lives. I started online gaming to get away from a crappy life and I'm sure a lot of you did too. Please be respectful and if you can't , just mute yourself fam.

Injuries were inevitable in his line of work and he preferred to be left alone. But instead she poked and prodded him and he’d had enough of it. He really didn’t mean to GROWL at her, but – growl he did.

When Jamison was just a little guy, he always had eyes for HER. She was a short blonde with green eyes and a metal arm she’d gained when she was very small. They used to build and scavenge together. Everyone thought that they were quite the mischievous pair. The other junkers even believed they might just grow to love each other. Jamison didn’t understand the word, unless they were talking about bombs of course! But he was fond of her. He remembered all the times they traveled through scrap heaps, looking for the best keepsakes, always trying to out do each other. She’d usually win if he was bein’ honest. But when he had turned 18, he wondered if he could one day recognize the word. -- LOVE. It was only on a dark day when a group of Junkers including the blonde girlie he had grown attached to had never made it back to town that he realized he might not ever recognize the word. But he sure as hell recognized another -- PAIN.
