Another OC from the story I'm probably never gonna write. Sophia Martin (pronounced "so-FYE-uh" much like Mariah). I didn't really get into her history, but I saw her as someone in the healthcare profession. A doctor with the NHS or possibly a therapist. And, of course, Gaz. 'nuff said.

John Price and my OC, Nicholas Penrose, from a story I'll probably never end up writing. I really liked the way this one turned out. The clothing drapery is very realistic. Took me about two days to assemble (mostly because of the background…I hate doing set design and props--it turned out very nice, though).

A little piece for @gamergirlbonestaskforce141riot of her OC, Christine "Riot" Vega. I try my best to stay true to what the character looks like and the general attire. I had to draw the facial scar, since I don't own the morph to make it. I think it looks realistic… hard to tell with your own work. Though, I think their outfits look fantastic. Ghost is always in black, so I thought I'd break it up just a bit.

This post was just to see if the community was interested in the idea. And I'm happy to say, everyone likes the idea. So probably tomorrow (04/24/24) I will set up a side blog with everything. Best thing to do it spread the word. I'm relatively new to the fandom (only joined around Nov '23), so if there are artists or fanfic writers who you'd like to let them know about it, please feel free to.

...Preventing Reposted Artwork...

A very kind artist just emailed me saying she saw my work reposted on another Instagram account. Most artists do have a watermark on their work, but it's a bit of a challenge to track down a particular artist if you don't know what their watermark looks like.

So I had an idea for a watermark glossary for any Call of Duty artist who wanted to participate. I'll compile a list of the watermarks and a link to their socials, plus I'd ask all participating artists to post that link in their bio to help create a "circle" to get the word out.

It won't prevent people from reposting/taking artwork, but it will help get the word out there that it is happening.

If anyone is interested in the idea, repost this.

@artbygem went out of their way to let me know my artwork was taken. Very nice since I'd never met them before. So, as a thank you, I threw this render together of their original character, Gemma "Widow" Miles. If you're not happy with it and/or want it removed, please let me know. I don't usually mix a lot of patterns and colors together, because it all seems to "busy". This one just seemed to work for me. The mix of circles and squares also ties the entire image together. Probably one of my new favorite images. Hope you enjoy!

@xxshadowbabexx asked me if they could use my John Price Living Spaces series as inspiration for fanfics. I wanted to reply in their post, but replies were turned off. So I thought I'd make a post out of it.

By all means, please do so. First and foremost, I consider myself a writer. To know something I made inspires someone to want to create their own art is the greatest compliment. If you use my photos, I would like the credit; but you drawing inspiration, you don't have to. You did the work writing the story. 😊

Inspiration are the wings that let imagination take flight. Alien was inspired by Star Wars which was inspired by Dune. And who knows, the stories you write might inspire the next person who reads them.

This account https://www.instagram.com/hot.adawong/ in instagram is reposting tons of render art. At simple view you can find @houseoftroi @ave661 @mctvsh bigmike in twitter, pluto3d in twitter, some from patreon, etc etc... I'm sure I'm missing a lot of names, but their style is recognizable, and most still have their watermark on! In some of the descriptions this person says where they found it, but in most of them, there's no credit. Worst thing is they tag the voice actors, and some of them have even liked the posts.
