idk maybe i’m thinking too deeply into this but i love how they executed between two worlds and through patches of violet.

i love how through patches of violet is introduced to us as opposed to the phase one, phase two formula they created with the kromer fight. first we hear the male version. and then the female version. depending on who you fight. and then the combined version. the two first versions sort of mirror each other. and then they eventually meet. it’s a reunion after witnessing them mirror each other.

while in between two worlds, it’s introduced in the phase one + phase two formula. which makes sense since sinclair is plunged into the world of darkness after staying in the realm of light. it feels more chronological. rather than the mirror feeling in violet.

to me, through patches of violet seems more like. taking two separate puzzle pieces and creating a new puzzle. while between two worlds feels more like a reveal of the already completed puzzle. it’s always been there, it’s already been a part of sinclair but he just never accepted it. i’m a chronic yapper so idk if i can convey my thoughts properly but yknow….. 🧍
