I can think of at least 10 reasons why you can't keep the water clean.

When my cat says âyes I will allow you to touch the softest parts of me, yes I will allow you to see me at my most vulnerable, yes I will call out to you when I wake in an empty room, yes I will seek you out when I need to feel safe and seen, yes I will stand guard so that you can sleep, I cannot tell you I love you but you know, I know that you know, I cannot tell you that I love you, so I will show itâ I cry

She is though, this snake is incredibly overweight. I left a comment saying that as well and he assured me that sheâs just a big girl and not overweight at all she âonlyâ gets a small to medium rat every week (Thatâs too much)
You will notice how her spine is sunken in, this is because of the massive fat pads running along either side of it. Your snakes spine should not be sucked in like that, it shouldnât really be visible unless they are going over a rounded shape in which case it poking out a little is ok. There is also no taper on the tail, she is thick down to her vent and then her tail sharply tapers down after it.
Sir if you donât think this animal is overweight what do you think is overweight? Do they have to have a beer belly??

This poor fish is doing 3 point turns to get from one side of the tank to the other and you want to add more?!

If a large number of people across multiple groups and sites are advocating against your shitty group, it may be worth examining that your shitty group is in fact in the wrong.

Nano Goldfish Keepers, and the Pure Goldfish website, got some attention in Goldfish Keepers recently. Now, letâs see what the Goldfish Keepers group has to say about Nano? There were quite a few comments on the post. Here are some of the best.
Thank you, Red!
Ah yes, the bowl mythâŠ
Purple, I think most care groups arenât doing enough, but youâre absolutely right on the âmoneyâ with the rest of your comment. It does seem rather fishy that someone who stands to financial gain from goldfish abuse would be the biggest supporter of goldfish abuse.
And here we have Lime Green getting torn down by Light Blue. I think Light Blue is the real MVP of this thread.
Gotta love that enormous smackdown.
Congratulations, Nano Goldfish Keepers. We hate you, other groups hate you, your pseudoscience is full of holes and supported by anecdotes rather than actual science, and weâre on to Meredithâs money making schemes.

30... AFTER a water change?
Yikes! I donât want to know how high it was before.
Only in Nano would you brag about high nitratesâŠ

Obviously Meredith Clawson needs to shut up if she thinks a 10 gallon is âperfectâ for a pair of goldfish.

I'd really like a tank for goldfish somewhere down the road. I do read up on goldfish care here and there (not a ton though, as this would literally be happening in like 5-8 years from now) but I was curious, what's like the breed of goldfish that has the least freaky mutations that can cause health issues. I was thinking of just getting like 3 feeder goldfish, putting them in an 100 gallon tank and letting them live like kings
âFeederâ goldfish are commons or comets. Theyâre pretty much the standard goldfish, and tend to live longer than fancies. They can get over 12âł long and would thrive in a large pond. Even large tanks donât give them adequate swimming room when theyâre fully grown. For indoor tank goldfish, the standard fantail or man-yu breed would probably be your best option, especially if you search for a fish that has a longer body. Theyâre unlikely to grow as large as commons and comets do (although not small fish by any means, at 6-10âł) and swim fairly slowly in comparison, making them more ideal for a tank.

{{ Hey, is there any chance I can request a more consistent tag for the Nano goldfish keepers posts? It's legitimately upsetting to me and I'd like to be able to block those posts, if possible. Thank you for your time!
Okay, thatâs not a problem! I apologize for not having been more consistent. Going forward Iâll use the Nano Goldfish Keepers tag as well.

While this post was in the drafts, the video was uploaded.
You know the drill: report & dislike (even though you canât see how many times it was downvoted, she will still see them).
It seems she forgot to disable commenting on this video, so if anybody chooses to tell her what they think, please keep the comments related to the fish situation and nothing that would be construed as a personal attack on Meredith.

These posts are incredibly common, and so disappointing. I donât even have a quip for it.Â
Yes, this is another - of many - examples where the members of the group actively do not want to be educated on how to adequately provide for their pets but itâs also another, all too common, example of a new keeper with potential falling victim to Meredithâs snake oil.Â

Itâs just a matter of time before one of their goldfish chokes on a cory.
I think everyone in this group has entered a âHow Much Can We Fuck Up Fish Careâ competition. Thereâs no other explanation.
