Looking forward to this event in a week & a half. It'll be in San Francisco with NFL player, Jonathan Scott as the spokesman for it. I'll be making a speech at it. Nervous & excited!

Fundraising thought
Thought of getting recipe ideas from others in the NPF & making a cookbook to fundraiser for the foundation. I haven’t run past them yet.

Yesterday was the walk in San Francisco for the National Psoriasis Foundation. It was amazing. We got lucky with great weather - sunny, warm (I sweated in the sun) & very little fog. I was a cure champion because I raised over $250 on my fundraising page. So, I got a special neon orange shirt & a medal. It started at Justin Herman Plaza, went to AT&T Park & back. One of the local meteorologists was the MC for the event which was cool. There were a lot of booths with companies supporting the event & they gave away a lot of great things. I had a great time. I hope to work for an organization like this one day.

After getting a non fate cappuccino, I met up with a friend & we headed to Santa Clara for a Be Joint Smart event. It.was.awesome! Learned lots, felt "normal," & great to get stuff to pass along. I will look through the paperwork I got & share with you in pieces the next week or so. If there's events near you through the National Psoriasis Foundation, I encourage you to go. It really will help you to connect with others living with psoriasis & psoriatic arthritis. Everyone has it at different stages & with various degrees of time. Often there's dermatologists, rheumatologist & others who will help you, answer questions & more.

The picture on the left is of my legs at their worse & then at their best (after meds). This was a few years ago after I lost the insurance I had from leaving a job & then when I got assistance from the county & got back on meds.
The picture on the right is my left foot yesterday. Besides the sausage digits (which is the medical term for toes with psoriatic arthritis), what is odd is the weird bump looking thing near my ankle. Usually my foot is either normal looking or really swollen never seen it between.
