I am, like, a long running proponent of the "eat something and you'll feel better" crowd and am often one of the first people to suggest "maybe it's time for a snack before I get whipped into a frenzy" but I really do resent how instantaneous it is. like it'll feel like I'm having my worst day in months and then I'll start eating and literally before I even finish I'm like oh yeah the world is beautiful

it was weird how despite being married, your husband never managed to not fluster you. it was the simple touches and brushes against your skin that would get you blushing.

“look here.” he’d cut you off your rambling to swipe at the corner of your lips for any food that remained or at your eyes if remnants of sleep were present before telling you to continue on. your thought process would of course have been long lost and you’d stare at him baffled.

you loved the moments when you’d cook together in the kitchen and he’d lean over your figure to grab something from the cabinets giving you a face full of his chest and a nose full of his cologne. he would then look into your eyes and inch his face closer to place a kiss on your cheek, shortly after continuing with his previous task.

you’d never not go crazy when he’d place his hands on your hips/waist as he’d navigate his way around a room. cup your cheek with his palm and you’d turn into putty for the man.

to put it simply, when it came to your man, you were the easiest person to exist.
