honestly though, still living for the fact that ever since I made this blog in 2019 or whenever it was, my bio has said ‘the trojans have my whole heart’. and back then they were just a lil side plot of aftg and were very much not the focus. but now we have a whole book (series) about jean and the trojan family and they’re getting fleshed out into real characters that don’t just exist in imagination and fic and I’m so overwhelmingly happy about it I still can’t believe it.

We know that Jean is tall, but can we talk about how he was probably a gangly preteen who was awkward and was likely to not have friends back when he was in Marseilles. It didn't help that he came to school with bruises and other injuries. When he was sold to the Moriyamas, he probably thought he was better off that way, no longer having to suffer under his mother's hand. He didn't know what was going to happen once he was in West Virginia.
