Apparently, finnish televoters gave israel 12 points. I've seen posts where our far-right politicians have said that they voted for the country. Disappointed but not surprised.

nah im not gonna shut up about this actually. what the FUCK do you mean joost klein was disqualified over a verbal threat when israel staff members have been harassing other artists (including someone allegedly making fun of joost's deceased parents, which led to the reply he made that got him disqualified). what the FUCK do you mean the EBU broadcast is dubbing cheering and clapping over the crowd when israel shows up to hide the fact that everyone is booing and screaming "free palestine." what do you MEAN eric saade's performance wasn't advertised because he wore a keffiyeh. this shitshow is so blatantly rigged and propaganda, i honestly assume atp that the EBU will rig the contest so that israel wins. FUCK eurovision and FUCK the EBU and FUCK israel

A disqualification for making a "threatening gesture" is an overreaction. Like the theories that Joost hit someone or the comment during the press conference were better reasons to completely ban him from the contest, but a "threatening gesture" or whatever that's supposed to mean... come on!
Joost had set his boundaries and those boundaries were disrespected. He was completely valid in his reaction
What a fucking shitshow

The fact that Joost got disqualified yet we still don't fully know what the hell happened yet is super sketchy...
Also the fact that one of the most (if not the most) beloved songs this year got disqualified is a really, really bad move on EBU's part...
Everyone better be prepared for tonight...
it's ridiculously stupid they've already lost about 90% of dutch viewers with this move and I'm sure they'll lose many international viewers as well because Europapa was so popular. This whole scandal is so ridiculously hypocritical and it looks and feels like a total setup. It feels entirely manufactured both to turn our eyes away from the cruelty in Rafah and to boost Israel in the final results.
They won't tell us the full story because they know it's unfair and hypocritical, Joost does not deserve any of this and I am so so saddened to see him turned into a scapegoat at the event that he's worked towards for years and years.

I said I wasn’t gonna engage with Eurovision this year but it has to be said that it’s extremely laughable that they are willing to disqualify the Netherlands for a ‘incident’ that happened with Joost Klein. But they aren’t willing to ban Israel for committing genocide.
Like it can not be more obvious that they just don’t give a fuck.
I hope all the contestants drop out.

Israel were asked if by being here (at esc) they posed a safety risk to everybody involved when competing. Then, as usual, they were told that they didn't have to answer to which Joost Klein (representative for The Netherlands) audibly asked "WHY NOT"

Obviously boycott Eurovision, but glad to read elsewhere it’s descended into chaos.
Netherlands suspended from rehearsals, organisers panicking, audience booing drowning out the singer from Israel, Italian singer apparently singing ‘imagine’ outside the venue in true cringe fashion.

Reminder: in life you can and will fuck up, sometimes catastrophically. But you will never ever have a “erasing 68 years of credibility, love, cultural impact and devotion over a moroccanoil sponsorship” level of fuck up.
