whoever’s reading this, i pray that you find happiness. not temporary happiness, or “if i pretend and put on a smile & laugh, maybe i’ll be happy” kind of happiness, but long lasting real happiness. the kind of happiness that makes your face glow & lights up your soul. you deserve it.

Some of the righteous people, would keep a piece of paper in their pocket and would open the paper, to look at it every hour and that which was written on the paper was:
"So be patient with your Lord’s decree, for you are truly under Our ˹watchful˺ Eyes." Surah At-Tur - 48

Do you find yourself being tested again and again even though you’re doing all that the Almighty has asked of you? Don’t fret. Know that your trials are a blessing not a punishment. He loves you and sends the toughest tests to his best soldiers. Endure with beautiful patience.

Supplication for one whose affairs have become difficult O Allah, there is no ease other than what You make easy. If You please You ease sorrow. Ibn Hibban (Hadith no. 2427), Ibn As- Sunni (Hadith no. 351).

“You are richer than 93% of people. Not in money, but in time. 108 billion people have lived throughout history. 93% of them are dead. You have what every king and queen, every pharaoh and ruler, every CEO and celebrity of the past would give all their wealth for: Today.”

Ibn al-Jawzi رحمه الله said: “Every breath we take is taking us closer to death. The time we spend in this world is short, the time we are held in our graves is long and the punishment for following our lowly desires are calamitous.”

The worst of punishments that one can impose on him/herself is to surrender to pressures, pains, and sad thoughts. And the best of remedies that one could seek for this is strong faith in Allah, and holding onto living while knowing the nature of life, and being persistent in overcoming the painful moment.

From the people that will be granted shade under Allah’s (SWT) throne on a day where there will be no shade but His, is someone whose heart is attached to the mosques. I’m blessed knowing that Allah SWT put the Majid in my heart upon reverting🤲🏾
Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said in His hadith:
“There are seven whom Allah will shade in His Shade on the Day when there is no shade except His Shade: a just ruler: a youth who grew up in the worship of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic; a man whose heart is attached to the mosques; two men who love each other for Allah’s sake, meeting for that and parting upon that; a man who is called by a woman of beauty and position (for illegal intercourse), but he says: ‘I fear Allah’; a man who gives in charity and hides it, such that his justify hand does not know that his right hand gives charity; and a man who remembered Allah in private and so his eyes shed tears.” (Bukhari and Muslim)
