I think the gaylor panic that's happening right now is very deeply funny, because none of what she has said in the 1989 tv prologue is new, and if you've looked at any Haylor timeline you'd have seen a lot of info that matches what we got out of the vault songs.
Like people are so married to the idea of Taylor being a perfect lesbian princess, to the concept of being the most right and correct about her life, that they loose it when she releases anything that contradicts that. (And tbh I can tell a lot of them are newer cause like. We've been here before. Several times.) And when some (SOME) Swifties use gaylordom existing as an excuse to be homophobic and shitty, every little thing Taylor says can feel like an attack.
For me, I came out of 1989 tv with my mind changed on some things. Up until this point I've never believed Haylor was real (or at least was as real as certain people would like you to believe), and now I'm certain it is. I didn't ever think Kaylor or Swiftgron were *that* serious, but now listening to the vault songs I see those relationships as part of a larger pattern of self destructive behavior Taylor was participating in during this time.
None of that changes my suspicion that Taylor is queer, but I'm also very comfortable acknowledging that a lot of that belief is based on my own life and experiences rather than Taylor's. I think that's true for most gaylors honestly.

Thinking a lot about how Taylor and Karlie were so close during the making of 1989 that Karlie heard the entire album before anyone else, and now that 1989 TV is about to release they aren't on speaking terms anymore.

Why do people believe that Taylor Swift can’t come out instead of believing she doesn’t want to.

i'll shut up about this at some point but really truly so funny how when folklore dropped we were all like these songs sound like they're about taylor's personal life and swifties were like "absolutely not, i hope every gay person dies" and then midnights came out and it was the exact same stories except this time without the disclaimer that they were about other people

It's so fucking weird to see gaylor talking points in the mainstream. Like what do you mean I see normie Swifties and big tiktokers discussing Taylor having PR relationships??????? That's something me and my three friends discuss and then get shit on by the Swifties.

Ok I looked and it was real it's their Vanuguard award and according to the article people like Cher, janet Jackson, and Elizabeth Taylor have won it. And like. I love Taylor. I adore her. I am very fond of yntcd and her activism in that era against my better judgement. But there's is no way in hell she's on the same level as like. Elizabeth fucking Taylor. No way.
Hey anyone else remember how Taylor was supposed to get a big Glad award during the Lover era or did I hallucinate that?

I know you’re a deuxmoi hater but they’ve posted a TS11 story which matches hints that a friend I have in the music industry has given me
i’m not a deuxmoi hater as much as a deuxmoi take-it-with-a-grain-of-salter but! now you gotta tell me what you heard from a friend. that would be fucking crazy in a good way

Which isn't to say that absolutely no element of this or any relationship Taylor has has never been used for PR. But to me this whole reaction people have to saying this relationship is purely PR is so dehumanizing. Like she's just incapable of having relationships that are not rooted in buisness.
And tbh this goes across the board. Everyone is obsessed with the idea of PR relationships it feels like and it's annoying.
I think it's deeply annoying to see Taylor Swift out with a man and say it's fake. No further inquiry or introspection needed just. A gut reaction that any time she steps out with a man it has to be fake because someone on tiktok told you about PR relationships and you've read the Kaylor timeline so everything you think must be true.
