its only april, but the heat made me feel like its july 🔥🔆

since the 20th is my birthday, i wanted to do something special!

i LOVE art collabs so, try coloring my lineart in your own style!

i dont want to make a whole contest, so there are no rules or deadline or anything. you are free to recolor and lightly edit (transparency, layer modes etc) the lineart as well. if you want you can even print it out and color it traditionally!

i feel like the yttd fanbase on tumblr has a lot of talent, and of course we love to see it, so when youre done with your piece just tag me in your post ^_^ and id like it if you reblog this post too, so more people can see it!

Context: beginning of the 7-year gap; the day before miles leaves for germany, phoenix goes to say farewell, and they finally confess their feelings for each other. a delicate moment for phoenix, just before things go awry and become even more delicate lol. what this moment means for his relationship with miles is a bittersweet feeling, the relief of years of pining vs. the uncertainty of their future together as their lives go separate ways once again.

I wrote all of this context down and it's more developed than this small summary, so I might draw it someday too lol. For now have this snippet that I've cooked up entirely in my brain and for my own enjoyment!!

I love nick and maya's sibling relationship, talking to each other like two silly teens that have to share all the gossip they get their hands on. And I also love that miles and maya would bond over steel samurai and only talk about that for hours on the phone. they're so ♾️

I am no longer asking for you to download as many roms and emulators as possible. Get a cheap 2 - 4TB HHD off of amazon or something for like 60 bucks and download the entire no-intro collection and I mean it now. This is not to raise a panic, but you should be concerned.
