…….okay, so the Aggretsuko Bluey thing is still a work in progress, I’ve been busy with other stuff lol.

That whole day was fucking worth it, my dude, fantastic work!

A little something for @kingdomofkitten’s Bluey Aggretsuko crossover, once he mentioned the wedding Bluey and Bingo would throw for Retsuko and Haida since they didn’t really have one, I just HAD to draw it!

I also used @helthehatter’s designs since they would look better next the Aggretsuko characters.

This took me a whole day to finish and I am completely drained…

OKAY A NEW IDEA TO ADD TO THIS BLUEY AND BINGO FIND OUT RETSUKO AND HAIDA DIDNT ACTUALLY HAVE A PROPER WEDDING PER SE SO THEY MAKE A PRETEND WEDDING SO THEY CAN BE MARRIED "FOR REAL LIFE"

Aggretsuko and Bluey Crossover (HEAR ME OUT)

Okay, so like, at this point, idk if I’m like in any fandoms per se anymore lol. I like shows, I like movies, I like games, I try not to like get lumped in with fandoms tho, with the natural exception being with friends.

ALL THIS TO SAY if I can have at least two fandoms attention for something lol.

I have had this idea rattling around in my head since Aggretsuko Season 5 came out, and I need to share it before it kills me: a crossover between the Japanese anime series geared at young adults, Aggretsuko, and the Australian animated series geared at toddlers, Bluey.

The main premise I have in my head is that Retsuko and Haida, after everything that went down with the election, and them getting married, have this moment where they realize they don’t really know married couples work, and what if they wanted to start a family. Inspired by a mention from Tadano, who happened to work at one point with Bandit Heeler on some tech for archeology work, the gang sets out to Australia, so the two can learn from Bandit and Chili on both being married, and being good parents. Bluey and Bingo manage to spin this into a game where they’re now the kids of the red panda and yeen, with the actual parents being sort of coaches. Oh, and meanwhile, Fenneko ends up babysitting Muffin, and the two cause chaos and destruction wherever they go lmao.

NONE of this makes much sense, considering Bluey takes place in a world entirely populated by anthro dogs, while Aggretsuko has many species be anthro………to which I say, eh, I still think it would be heccin adorable.

Gonna add a little more, Bluey ends up taking the two to her school, where she and the other kids have them partake in various games, like Mums and Dads, Army, raiding a castle, or going on an adventure to slay a dragon, or something like that. A part of this came from reading someone’s headcanon that Haida potentially has ADHD, and thinking of that, and him bonding with Jack, a character that canonically has ADHD, warms my (fittingly enough also ADHD-having) heart lol. But honestly just the idea of the two just bonding with the kids, and more with each other, is just good enough for me. ^^
