My first attempt at twists! Hair: 3 packs of Xpressions 84" in colors 1b and 4 So I was actually going for that jumbo look lol. Don't judge. Style didn't stay in for long 😩. I found myself re-twisting stubborn twists that just wouldn't stay friggin TWISTED. Yes, I used a gel... I just think the "hair" I used was just to soft with my texture. Therefore it was prone to slipping right out.... hence, the twists I would find on the sidewalk while walking to my car 😓😓😓😓. Next time, I'm gonna do smaller twist and work with the Marley hair. I loved the look, but hated the maintenance, definitely gonna have a try at it this style again. Any other suggestions?

Short hair? No problem! 3 easy hairstyles if you want that QUICK switch up when your getting bored with your TWA "teeny weeny Afro" . STYLE 1: ❤️ Part your hair in the middle into 2 equal half sections. ❤️ section each half into another half section, now having 4 sections of hair. ❤️ begin to braid the sections closest to the center of your head first, then continue to do the sections by your ears. ❤️ when all braids are done, grab whatever hair is left over, and form a tiny cute little bun. *Add wefts of old hair to create a fuller bun if applicable!* [ DON'T FORGET THOSE EDGES ] slick 'em down 😊 STYLE 2: 💛 wash and condition hair 💛 rinse conditioner and apply a leave in 💛 using a denman brush, brush your hair to frame your face. [ I brushed sections in he front to form bangs, the sides and the back] * the brush is the important tool in this style, it helps form the curls * 💛 fingercoil any curls that need that extra help 💛 air dry (& fluff if necessary) I didn't have too 👌🏽. STYLE 3: 💙 dampen hair with water and apply a leave in 💙 part hair to create a side part and slick down shorter side with edge control 💙 use a brush/water/conditioner to tame he larger part. Use pins if necessary 💙 wrap a thin, long scarf around your head, allowing some hair in the front to frame your face. 💙 tuck in any loose ends!

Hair is long enough to braid back now 😆!! Just 4 corn rows angled towards my widows peak. Easy hairstyle for that awkward length stage.

New products alert! Shampoo: Alba Botanical Deep conditioner: creme of nature Argan oil Leave in conditioner: Jane Carter solutions Revitalizing spray: Proclaim professional care Rationale: I love products that use organic ingredients and leave the "bad" ones out. I tend to shy away from conditioners and shampoos that contain sulfates (aka salt which dries your hair) and parabens (which acts like the preservative for beauty products). My hair is naturally dry... So why would I need a shampoo that strips my hair of its natural oils? I mean.. They're good when my hair is extra dirty but on a weekly/bi-weekly basis ... I keep my gentle products at hand. -I actually bought this shampoo a while back but only actually started using it. It's pretty cool I guess. My hair feels clean but lacks the moisture and softness. No wow factor... But I mean is there a shampoo out there that makes your hair feel clean and moisturized? Cause if no is the case, I guess this stuff is pretty good. -I love creme of nature products.. Super excited to use this one, cause it was super affordable where I can buy 3-4 bottles at a time, and I trust them based on other products I've used. -Jane Carter is another brand I SWEAR BY. I love them, never any complaints so just look forward to some amazing results . -Proclaim is a new brand I'm looking to try. You guys ever go out and your hair just gets drier and drier throughout the day and you wish you could just pour some water and refresh your curls?! Well that's my problem. So I hope this little sucker does the trick. I plan to take it on the go, and spritz when necessary to add moisture when my curls feeling a little dry and crunchy lol. Have you guys used any of these products? I want to hear all about it ! :)

Styling: spray hair with water. I part my hair where some hair falls to the front, sides and back. Apply product (I used just one) throughout. Raked the product through the shorter sides and finger coiled the longer more stubborn curls. Let it sit and air dry, fluff, and maneuver the curls to frame your beautiful face! Product: Jane Carter Wrap & Roll mousse Hair type: mix of 3a/3b
