how to find literally any post on a blog in seconds (on desktop)

there are so many posts about ~tumblr is so broken, you can’t find any post on your own blog, it’s impossible, bluhrblub~

I am here to tell you otherwise! it is in fact INCREDIBLY easy to find a post on a blog if you’re on desktop/browser and you know what you’re doing:

url.tumblr.com/tagged/croissant will bring up EVERY post on the blog tagged with the specific and exact phrase #croissant. every single post, every single time. in chronological order starting with the most recent post. note: it will not find #croissants or that time you made the typo #croidnssants. for a tag with multiple words, it’s just /tagged/my-croissant and it will show you everything with the exact phrase #my croissant

url.tumblr.com/tagged/croissant/chrono will bring up EVERY post on the blog tagged with the exact phrase #croissant, but it will show them in reverse order with the oldest first 

url.tumblr.com/search/croissant isn’t as perfect at finding everything, but it’s generally loads better than the search on mobile. it will find a good array of posts that have the word croissant in them somewhere. could be in the body of the post (op captioned it “look at my croissant”) or in the tags (#man I want a croissant). it won’t necessarily find EVERYTHING like /tagged/ does, but I find it’s still more reliable than search on mobile. you can sometimes even find posts by a specific user by searching their url. also, unlike whatever random assortment tumblr mobile pulls up, it will still show them in a more logically chronological order

url.tumblr.com/day/2020/11/05 will show you every post on the blog from november 5th, 2020, in case you’re taking a break from croissants to look for destiel election memes 

url.tumblr.com/archive/ is search paradise. easily go to a particular month and see all posts as thumbnails! search by post type! search by tags but as thumbnails now

url.tumblr.com/archive/filter-by/audio will show you every audio post on your blog (you can also filter by other post types). sometimes a little imperfect if you’re looking for a video when the op embedded the video in a text post instead of posting as a video post, etc

url.tumblr.com/archive/tagged/croissant will show you EVERY post on the blog tagged with the specific and exact phrase #croissant, but it will show you them in the archive thumbnail view divided by months. very useful if you’re looking for a specific picture of a croissant that was reblogged 6 months ago and want to be able to scan for it quickly 

url.tumblr.com/archive/filter-by/audio/tagged/croissant will show you every audio post tagged with the specific phrase #croissant (you can also filter by photo or text instead, because I don’t know why you have audio posts tagged croissant) 

the tag system on desktop tumblr is GENUINELY amazing for searching within a specific blog! 

caveat: this assumes a person HAS a desktop theme (or “custom theme”) enabled. a “custom theme” is url.tumblr.com, as opposed to tumblr.com/url. I’ve heard you have to opt-into the former now, when it used to be the default, so not everyone HAS a custom theme where you can use all those neat url tricks. 

if the person doesn’t have a “custom theme” enabled, you’re beholden to the search bar. still, I’ve found the search bar on tumblr.com/url is WAY more reliable than search on mobile. for starters, it tends to bring posts up in a sensible order, instead of dredging up random posts from 2013 before anything else

if you’re on mobile, I’m sorry. godspeed and good luck finding anything. (my one tip is that if you’re able to click ON a tag rather than go through the search bar, you’ll have better luck. if your mutual has recently reblogged a post tagged #croissant, you can click #croissant and it’ll bring up everything tagged #croissant just like /tagged/croissant. but if there’s no readily available tag to click on, you have to rely on the mobile search bar and its weird bizarre whims)

He just came back from spawn. The particles of the warpstone still fading.

And he is alone in his little warehouse.

Family's warehouse.

He just said his feelings for Fit. He said everything, what he felt, and what he wanted. And he was so nervous about that and finally making the decision to confess. And all those days gathering the courage to say. To at least not run away when he says "I really wanted to be more than... Roommates?" And trying to laugh through the nervousism.

He was almost sure that Fit felt something too. Ramon, his son, was totally in favor of that. Everyone in the island was talking about this fofoca.

So why did Fit turned him down...?

I mean, I think that's normal. Sometimes it goes wrong.

I really hoped this could go alright.

He knew that it was a possibility. So it's fine.

I can deal with that.

I guess...

I'm not... Worth it...

I just wanted something... Something nice... It didn't need to be something fancy or anything like that, I don't know...

I wanted to feel these things...

With him

I wanted to be loved like that...

Is it me?

Am I... The problem?

I guess I am.

Of course no one would like me like that.

I don't have anything special.

I'm not good at anything.

I don't even know what to do with myself.

And now things will be awkward between us...

I need to do my best to not change anything between us.

Make like this never happened. I can do this.

Okay so, a while after the purgatory, everyone is back. Everything is fine. Mike is awake, everyone is in Christmas mood. So everything is fine. Pac is fine.

Cellbit and Roier are back and playing with Richas and Pepito while Pac watches from afar. Fit notices Pac and goes near him to say hi and see how everything is going.

Then he notices something. Something in the expression Pac is making. He looks distant. Kinda tired, maybe concerned. He is frowning a little. And before Fit says something Pac puts his hoodie back and warp away.

Fit is confused and goes check on the map where Pac is. He's on chume island. Without thinking he warps there too.

Pac is sitting in his armchair next to the water wheel. His with his knees next to his chest.

"Oi Pac!"

"Oh. Hi Fit!" His expression changes quickly to a happy face.

"Just wanted to check on you. You left without saying anything." Fit seats in the other armchair.

"Oh yeah I was about to go sleep. Organized some things in my inventory and all that stuff. Just seated here to... To appreciate the view!"

"Oh I see I see..."

They stay like that for a moment. Fit is a little worried so he doesn't want to leave yet.

"Do you mind if... If I stay here for a while?"

"No, no, not at all. Feel like this is your home too" Pac smiles.

Fit smiles back but stays quiet, appreciating the view too. He knows what happened in purgatory and Pac said that he even had fun in most of the time. Mike is awake now too. Richas is fine, and all his dads are back too. So he can't see the problem clearly. But he looks with attention and Pac seems a tired. Like he's not sleeping well.

"Are you sleeping good?" Fit asks in a lower voice.

Pac seems a little surprised.

"I thought no one would notice haha" He laughs. "I mean, I even tried to make that trick with the spoons to see if it get better but-"

"Pac"

Pac stops talking and see Fit is serious.

"Sorry Fit... Yeah but... I'm fine. I'm fine! Everyone is back on the island, commemorating the holidays, it's all fine!"

"Is there something bothering you? I mean, I'm here if you want to talk y'know. Like, don't feel pressured though, just- like- I want you to know I'm here." Fit is now inclined in Pac's direction, still sitting in the armchair.

Pac is quiet. First a little impressed but now he seems a little nervous, a little uneasy. He hugs himself.

"Okay so.... Im having these... These nightmares... So I'm not sleeping so well..."

Pac is fidgetting with his gloves and Fit waits for Pac to say more.

Pac sighs

"It's nothing! Like... It's just some dumb dreams, they are not real so don't need to worry about that."

"Do you want to talk about it? About the dreams?"

"I- I don't think... I don't know... Is just like..." Pac is now holding his leg.

"It's okay if you don't want to."

"Okay... Is just that- AAAARGH. I'm just so dumb, why I am like this!" Pac hides his face in his hoodie.

"I'm so useless..." Pac says just like a whisper.

"Don't say that!" Now Fit is next to Pac's armchair, crouching just to try and see Pac's face. "Can you tell me why you are saying this? I can help you Pac."

Pac peaks from his hoodie.

He exhales.

"Okay... So... I'm afraid of... Cellbit..." He hides himself. "You can laugh now, I won't judge, I would laugh too"

"Of course not Pac. It's okay to- to be afraid of things. Your feelings are valid Pac."

Pac stays in his little hideout. And Fit waits.

"Can you tell me why you are afraid of him?"

"Is just... He killed my friends once... He... He took my leg..." Pac grips his leg. Fit only waits with a surprised expression.

"And when we were in purgatory, he-he was there killing my friends! And- and- I-" He's voice is failing now.

"I couldn't do anything... I couldn't save them... I lost all my courage. And I was the lider! I was supposed to protect them!" Pac lifts his head trying to not cry.

"And I even said I could do things for him if he asked... It was like the prison all over again..."

And Pac tries to clean his tears before they fall. He doesn't want to look like this, even more not in front of Fit! But he can't stop crying. Why is he so useless. So afraid. Why he can't just, be strong! And stoic like any of the others! Fit could do that easily but he can't, because he is dumb and useless...

"But when we were together in purgatory you made it! You killed him and fought with him!" Fit tries to say in a optimistic way.

"That was because you were with me... You were by my side and I knew you could kill him. You could help me..."

"But it's okay Fit! You don't need to worry! Is just something dumb like me. Everything in the island is fine now, everyone is fine! So I will be fine..."

They stay quiet for a couples seconds. Pac is trying to clean his face with his sleeves.

"Can I hug you?" Fit is with a worried face.

And Pac is again impressed. Impressed that someone is by his side. Hasn't made fun of him. That someone is worried about him. Even though he's the most unluckiest guys on earth. And maybe he doesn't deserve anything happy. And he is even more impressed that this someone is Fit. He just wants to cry. But he cried so much already. Why is he like this.

But he accepts the hug. They stand up and they hug each other. And Pac cries a little more. But Fit holds him, and holds all the pieces that are trying to break and fall.

"Don't say that you are dumb or useless Pac. You are one of the most amazing person I have ever met. You make so many cool things, you are so smart. You made the fucking cure for that federation pill. You are awesome! You are kind and helps everyone in this island. You sacrifice yourself a little too much even, for the sake of others. Don't say bad things about yourself please... You are really good to me and makes me sad hearing that..."

"Sorry about that..."

"Don't be sorry! That's what fr- That's why I'm here for. I'm here to support you and help you when you need, okay?"

Pac doesn't respond right away. And now Fit is panicking a little. Did he talked too much? Is this going to scare Pac? Did he go too far? Now my heart is beating a little too fast. He will notice. Why my face is so hot. I just said I'm here for him, that doesn't make anything weird, right?

But Fit doesn't leave the hug. But they are quiet. And Fit is sure that anyone could hear his heart beating, so surely Pac is hearing. But Pac also doesn't leave. So maybe is fine. Finally Pac says something.

"Thank you Fit..." And Pac lifts his head to see Fit. "It means a lot to me."

And Pac is with the most honest smiles in his face. And he looks beautiful. The sunset is hitting his face making him glow. And Fit can't think in his panic anymore. Because he's stunned with how Pac looks.

Pac breaks eye contact and hugs Fit tighter, in a way of thanking him. And finally leaves the hug.

"Okay so I will leave for today. But thank you so much for what you said. It really means a lot to me. I know I still have to work on these...things... But I know that I can ask help if I need!" And his smiles so gorgeous.

"O-okay, but yeah! Anything you need just call me!"

"Thank you Fit! Bye!" Pac leaves for the wearhouse.

"Bye!"

And Fit is stunned. He just takes his warp and goes back to home. He doesn't move. Just place his hands in his face and blushes. Why is he like this.

On the other side Pac is just blushing and hiding himself inside his hoodie.

Pac comes back from purgatory.

It was hell but it had its moments of fun. Bonded with new people and survived every plague thrown at them.

But when he gets back. He cries tears of joy. Finally his home. He doesn't have to worry about disasters every hour and eye looking creatures. He celebrates and goes to spawn to see everyone gathering and relieved everything is going to be fine.

"Pac!"

He sees Fit in the distance and run, as fast as he can. Fit is running too. Pac is with an expression that Fit interpret as anguish and anxiety but also... Hope?

Pac doesn't even say anything and just hugs him, making Fit almost fall but he's a strong man, he can take it. And Pac hugs him so hard. Fit is little surprised, with the feeling of seeing Pac again, with the feeling of the warm. But he doesn't hesitate, just hugs him back just as tight, trying to contain his emotions to not overflow.

They stay quiet for a couple seconds, just hugging each other like no one's around. Fit can feel that Pac is crying, trembling and murmuring things in his chest.

"Are you okay Pac?"

"I will be... Can we leave for a quieter place?" Everyone is talking with each other at spawn, making a mess celebrating that everyone is back.

Pac is still hugging him, Fit doesn't complain.

They teleport to Fit & Ramon and go to Fit's room. Pac sit on the bed sighting relived.

"Sorry, I sitted here without asking, oh my god I'm all dirty and sweat sorry sorry" Pac's already standing.

"No no no, don't worry. You can seat wherever you want, don't worry about that. I can change the bed's clothes or whatever. Feel free to do whatever you like."

"Thank you Fit" Pac sits again.

So they talk. Mostly Pac. He talks all about the hell he went through. Fit who was standing now is sitting next to Pac. And Fit notices, every little -and big- new cut and wound. The messy hair and the dirty clothes, how Pac looks so tired. And Fit is so annoyed about that, how he couldn't protect him from all this. When Pac stops talking there is an awkward silence.

"Are you okay Fit?"

"Yeah just- I wish- I wish I was there."

"Oh c'mon, you don't need to say that. You have to take care of Ramon, right? I mean, I didn't need to worry to much because Richas still has Forever but-"

Fit holds Pac's hand with a serious look and Pac seems nervous.

"I missed you."

And Pac looks suprised, but doesn't move.

"I missed you too"

They stay like this for a moment.

"Can we have a date without dungeons, please?" Pac says with a laughing tone. "I'm kinda of tired from fighting."

Fit laughs in response and look away ashamed that he admitted it was a date.

"Of course, I mean, we can go on a adventure another day"

"Ooh yeah, I need a bath Fit! I'm stinking!" Pac says with a joking tone.

"Oooh god!" Fit laughs.

And they joke and make fun of one another.

They never leave each others hands.

Just was thinking about a situation where Pac gets distant with Fit (for whatever reason) and then fit would go like "Oh Hi Pac how are you going" etc etc and then Pac would say something like "I'm busy right but see you later :D"

And Fit would be "okay...?" And he would notice that Pac is distant and as the days pass he would know that Pac is hanging with everyone less him. And I just imagine he saying "Oh I see... I mean Pac can hang out with anyone he wants. It doesn't bother me! It doesn't bother me at all..."

And the he would talk to others about that and no one would understand and Fit would start to overthink and be like "okay, I did something very wrong how can I fix this" because Pac wouldn't just go away like this. ....right?

And then Fit would try to talk to Pac and try to give him presents or compliment or try to get a hint of what he did wrong but Pac is just really avoiding him.

And Fit would stop and think. And feel. He would feel sad. And like he has no other options. He needs to apologize and fix this thing because- if not, he would lose Pac.

And he would call Pac in a way that Pac couldn't refuse. Like saying it's a life or death situation. (For Fit it's the same so it's not a lie).

And Fit would be like

"Pac, actually there's no danger. And before you leave I wanted to apologize. I know I fucked up something and and I've gotta fucked up pretty bad for you to avoid me like this... And I-I just want to fix ok? I mean, I'm a janitor, I fix things you know haha.... But yeah... I'm sorry..."

And he would feel so sad. He doesn't cry for so long but he think he could cry for this. Cry of anger for being so stupid for ruining something so nice with Pac. And he would be so angry with himself and just "I'm so stupid with my dumb feelings"

And the he would look at and Pac would be crying and everything would get so confusing but Pac would just say something like

"I'm sorry Fit!! It was not to you to feel this way!! I just- I thought that you- I don't know! That you... Didn't like me..." And cry his eyes out.

And the whole scene would be a mess cuz Fit wants to calm him down but why would Pac think like that??? And probably would be some silly thing that bbh or Pierre would've said and Fit swears he's gonna destroy one of them.

And everything would calm down. And they make jokes about it. Laugh about it. And Fit says "There's no way I wouldn't like you Pac"

And Pac would go silent for a seconds and say

"I like you too... But... I really really like you. Y'know?"

And I think Fit would cry. Cry for real. Like, ugly cry. And he doesn't even know why the hell his crying. And Pac would be a little desperate but try to calm him and Fit would confess. Say everything. Say that his not good with feelings. Not even words. But he likes Pac so much. So so much.

And everything would be okay. They would be awkward about it. Being shy and laughing about it. And everything would be perfect, eventually. They would be together and everything will be fine.

(Part 3)

So, I guess I'm coping with my obsessions making this kinda post so here I am again.

q!Fit !

Because...

Krookodile: I like to imagine that this one he got from 2b2t. He got him when he as just a sandile and now he's a good big boy. Also the colors match.

Blastoise: This one is obvious because of the canons, and fit has a canon and all. Like to imagine that he met him when he was a Wartortle and the pokémon got so excited when he heard about the evolution that he evolved, just like that.

Metagross: Another big boy that I think matches with Fit. Just resemble like some serious and rigid pokemon, but when you get to know him he's sweet and funny. (Also like to think about him mega evolving).

Sirfetch'd: Fit teaches him how to fight and it shows how to fight with honor and how he can get stronger when they fight for the people they love (both of them learn that). Also, shield.

Roserade: This one is a little hideduo reference. I like to imagine that Pac gave him an egg as a gift (maybe when the eggs where missing, just to help Fit deal with everything) and when it hatched it was a budew! This Roserade would be really caring with Pac. Because Pac would always ask about it and care about it.

Electrode: He explodes. Like, just, BOOM. That's it. I think he would totally love exploding things with Ramon. I think they would also try to find a way to it explode without fainting.

(Part 2)

I know I'm the only one to like qsmp and pokemon like that but I'm gonna do this anyways.

Here's q!Mike !

(Ok, so, I know it has a lot of dark type but I tried to balance the types.)

The explanation:

Grimer: Because he's kinda slime vibes yk, and shiny because he's green and Mike is green schemed. (In my defense I think slimecicle would be another green slime thing)

Morpeko: I just like to imagine Pac and Mike chilling and then go full alert mode when "Did you feed morpeko?" And they would run for their lives. Also resembles how Mike came back a little violent and all (I miss him so much pls come back).

Zigzagoon: Galar version because he's cooler and edgier. He would totally overthrow the federation. I see him evolving to obstagoon eventually.

Klink: I have a feeling that Mike would hate pokemon that looks like objects but I see him getting attached when he starts "prop hunting" them in the hide and seek arena. And also it would be helpful with the create mod.

Morgrem: Same vibe that zigzagoon. Edgy vibes and shenanigans happening with this little guy.

Lampert: Also object pokemon that would do the prop hunt thing. I see him being bestie with klink, and he would totally haunt chume labs.

Next will be probably q!Fit.

Just sharing what teams the little cubitos would have because why not.

Starting with q!Pac !

✨ Explanation ✨

Piplup: I just get water vibes from Pac and I think it suits him well. I like to imagine his piplup would help him with water trauma (from when he got kidnapped). Also like to imagine he would evolve to empoleon eventually.

Nickit: Ok so, "p a s s a t u d o" vibes yk. I see it evolving too but imagine just a little fella stealing things here and there.

Pachirisu: So, nerdge time ☝️🤓. There was a championship where the guy won using a Pachirisu with a simple move, 'follow me', to focus all the attacks on him and the other pokémon just wiped the rest of the opposing team (it was a double battle) and I think that's a very Pac thing to do. Also PAChirisu. And the color scheme too.

Sudowoodo: It's just a funny guy. Like, he looks like a plant, but he's a rock type. Just-

Tauros: Because of bulls in favela and also the colors.

Noibat: It's the badass one. Some people draw Pac bat hybrid so this is for you guys. Really like to think it evolves and people would be like "hey pac where's your little cute bat?" And then Pac would call him and appear a giant noivern and people would go "OMG" and Pac would go "isn't he the cutest???".

So, yeah, idk who I'm gonna do next but probably q!Mike or q!Fit (because the worms in my brain commanded me to)
