Happy Valentine's day! My plan for Valentine day is to marathon-play otome games while munching Lindt's Strawberry and Cream truffle (the people I recommended it to said it's too sweet but I absolutely love it!) Kudos to Vlad for being a strawberry fan so I translated his story from the Sweet aphrodisiac and melty chocolate event ٩( ᐛ )و

On Valentine day, I went to town to visit Vlad - the florist. 

Vlad: Eh, in your country, people give chocolate to the ones they love on Valentine day right? 

Yuuki: That’s right. But it isn’t only the one we love, we also give to friends, family and close ones too. 

Sitting side by side on a bench in the park, I gave Vlad the wrapped gift box. 

Yuuki: Here you are. This chocolate is for you, Vlad. 

Vlad: For me? Thank you, Yuuki… Hmm, it’s pink-coloured chocolate. 

Yuuki: Because you said you like strawberries, I tried to make strawberry chocolate. 

Vlad: Strawberries? I’m happy. I’m extremely happy that you remember what I like. 

(Fufu, he’s that happy. Unexpectedly, Vlad has a childlike side) When I saw his carefree smile, deep in my heart became warm. Vlad promptly picked up one piece of chocolate and brought it to his mouth. 

Vlad: ….Uhmmm, the sweetness is just right, very delicious. 

Yuuki: That’s great….! 

When he put another piece of chocolate into his mouth, suddenly he tilted his head. 

Vlad: Hey…Yuuki. This chocolate has alcohol in it… 

Yuuki: Ehh, I didn’t put alcohol in? (Because Vlad said he isn’t good with alcohol) 

Vlad: Really? … It’s strange, my body becomes hot like when I drink alcohol. 

(His cheeks are a bit red…?) I was wondering what was going on… Vlad took off his apron, his fingers held his shirt’s collar and started fanning (sorwy I can’t English here ;u; it’s like Vlad holds his shirt collar and shakes it to get some air into his shirt to cool down) 

Vlad: Haaa…. 

(…Ts, somehow my heart is beating fast) The sound of his hot breath/sigh reached my ears and peeking at the skin on his chest was extremely sexy, even my cheeks were getting hot. Unintentionally I looked away. 

Vlad: Yuuki, are you hot too? Your cheeks are red. 

Yuuki: Eh…. 

His hand gently cupped my cheeks and pulled me towards facing him. The deep crimson eyes became slightly clouded and as my gaze met his, my heart pounded loudly. 

Vlad: It’s not just your cheeks… 

Yuuki: V..Vlad 

Vlad: Your lips are also red like strawberries. Yuuki, you look more delicious … than strawberries. 

I couldn’t move, it was as if I was pinned down, and his lips came nearer…Something soft touched right on the side of my lips.

Yuuki: Ahh…. 

His lips gently nib at my skin. Surprised at this sensation, my body jumped. When I came to my sense, I barely pushed his shoulder away. 

Vlad: Tt… Yuuki? 

Yuuki: Ah...Uhm… I was surprised. 

Vlad: Ahaha, I’m sorry. I wanted to have a taste. 

(Taste...?) Vlad released me, he spoke while re-wrapping the chocolate. 

Vlad: I will continue this again next time. I want to savour this slowly. 

(Savour… he means the chocolate right? But I thought he already ate some just now...) 

It was like a kiss, but still different from a kiss, I wondered what that was. Unable to calm down my loudly throbbing heart, I kept gazing at his lips...

I found out Charles’ bday to be 15th Feb and was looking for a present… Charles is a doctor in Paris and very friendly. And then… Ah? Surprisingly I don’t know much abt Charles. I’m at a loss at what present to give him.

Yuuki: Can you (might as well) tell me what you like, Charles? 

Charles: Now you ask me that, I wonder? Hmmm... Ah, right. If we walk around town together, I may know. Shall we go? 

Charles pulled my arm heading to town and I come to know a lot abt him. 

Yuuki: You have so many things you like, Charles.

Charles: Uhm, it’s more fun that way, don’t you agree? 

During that time, there is something at the general store that catches my eyes and I decide to choose it as the present. 

Charles: Yuuki, you thought of me and chose this right? … I like it, of course I like it. 

When I tell him the reason why I choose that present, Charles is delighted and takes my hand. 

Yuuki: Are there anything else you like, Charles? 

Charles: You don’t know? ...It’s you. Yuuki, I want your feelings to turn towards me. I want to monopolize your “like” more.

Taisho Alice episode 2: Gretel and Kaguya. In Gretel’s route, Gretel is MC’s adopted younger brother, they are not blood related. Details under cut. 

G: Neesan (older sis), are you hungry? 

G: No I can’t. If I untie that string, you will run away, no?

G: So sweet.... neesan.... so delicious

G: You are the only one I don’t want to be abandoned by... neesan. It’s fine if parents and older brother hate me... Even if they abandon me, I don’t mind ... But I don’t want you (only you) to let go of my hand...

G: I have always, always wanted to eat you. 

Bad end: beautiful CG but the next morning G jumped into hell’s fire leaving MC behind nooo......

Y: Uhm ... If I’m trapped like this, we will be together forever. 

Bad End: at least this bad end, both of them can be in hell’s fire together I guess ;u;

G: I didn’t want everybody around to see me and you as brother & sister, nor as childhood friends .... I wanted everybody to see us as lovers.

This person is my treasure hence I won’t let anyone touch her.... Do you know that I have this clingy/needy personality? 

Y: ... Yes, I know everything abt you. 

G: If so, this time please tie the ribbon to me, and wish that we will be able to be together forever and ever.

Y: I already do, from a long time ago, even now, and from now on, I wish that this happiness will last forever. 

G: Y... To me, the days I spend together with you are treasure that nothing can replace. I’ll always treasure you, hence from now on, please be together with me. 

Gretel is my favourite in the game! I think that huge bird cage in 3rd, 7th and 8th photo is a big sign that he is a yandere. Tbh, as much as I love his route, I am quite worried how ENG fans will respond to his cage/yandere/adopted brother theme. I know not many people can tolerate yandere/cages (e.g. like Amnesia Toma) and probably think adopted brother-sister relationship is strange as well; but I find these types of characters very interesting, especially when they have a good backstory and plot explaining why they do what they do. 

It started with a boy at school provoked Gretel by badmouthing about him & MC. Normally Gretel is the calm perfect student, smart, hardworking, good at playing sports and making desserts, but negativity towards his beloved neesan? -> he flipped out and hit that boy. Later that boy and his gang tricked MC into going to the woods and assaulted her T-T Luckily Red Riding Hood walked past and saved her, though she begged him not to tell Gretel. MC planned to go hide somewhere for sometime so Gretel wouldn’t see her injuries, but Gretel spotted her packing up. She lied that she got into a car accident, but he could tell she was assaulted. Ouuugh, his face and voice talking to her (and trying to hold his anger in) was devastingly sad it broke my heart. He usually eats candies (pills) to keep him calm but an overdose can make memories hazy. He fed her those candies via kissing so she will forget this bad dream (of being assaulted). Then MC woke up (at the beginning of this route) not remember abt the assault or why she was living in this tiny house in the wood with Gretel. Throughout the route, she gradually has dreams and starts remembering. 

I know in real life, bad people need to be taken to police and let the law deal with them. But in fantasy otome world, meh, I want the good chara to be able to get their revenge if they choose to :/ Gretel kept MC locked in the house, and some days inside the cage so she will be safe while he prepares for revenge on the boy gang. He beat them up, forced them to delete all the photos they took of MC on the assault day, and was abt to set them on fire but MC escaped the cage & house and came to stop him. The Huntsman (MC’s real older bro and Gretel’s adopted bro but usually very cold towards Gretel) arrived and shouted at Gretel 

Huntsman: ... Gretel! Do you know what you are about to do!? What you’re doing is murder!!

Gretel: I know. So what? They are the ones that assaulted your younger sister!! 

Huntsman: Even so, you are not allowed to use violence on them!! Those boys you are about to kill has families!!

Gretel: Families... If so, my existence is below theirs right? Because I have no families. The fact that I don’t have families, even if no one tells me, I already know. I’m different from you guys, my existence has no value. Because of that, I have worked so hard, haven’t I! I study, I play sports, I work so desparately until now to be accepted by you superior people!! With my whole heart, I want to catch up with Neesan, to become her ideal brother figure. Why... why you people have to destroy everything!! Neesan.... neesan, neesan .... You are the only one I don’t want to be abandoned by...

Poor Gretel, hearing this, MC took his hand and run into the wood, telling him “It’s alright, I’ll protect you.” My respect for Takuya Eguchi who voices Gretel, his voice during this scene is like extra stabs into my heart I burst into tears ;u; 

The good end is the lock of the cage no longer stuck (MC was in the cage), MC and Gretel escaped from the burning house in the wood. They returned home to apologize to parents and Huntsman the brother, then live happily ever after tying ribbons yayyy.

I know it can be argued that Gretel is wrong/dangerous/violent/unstable/etc etc to lock MC in cage & house and want to set the gang on fire for revenge. Well, I don’t advocate doing that in real life, but in this fictional otome world, I love Gretel, everything he does is to protect MC. During the route, Red Riding Hood told MC: even if Gretel himself becomes the bad person, protecting you is justice to him. I guess I’m the target audience for characters like Gretel, I love dark twisted sociopath yandere. I’m prepared if episode 2 is localized and everybody throw bricks at him... deep breath, it’s ok, everybody have their own opinion and I respect that. I’ll just continue loving him quietly in my blog/cave (ღ˘⌣˘ღ)

I’m playing NilAd atm and there was a scene where Tsugumi helps Tarou fix his uniform button. Akira says she’s like a wife, Hisui said no she is like a mom while Hayato is seething with jelly lol (aweee I love him!) 

K: Because I don’t want to leave scars on your beautiful skin. 

Y (Is it because he bites me gently, deep inside my body throbs...)

Y: There are a lot so eat as much as you want, okay :)

Subaru: Uhm... this smell... Isn’t this a carrot dish! Why give a person a dish that he hates! 

Kou: Today I will especially feed you. Now, open wide, aaaa

Subaru: I won’t eat it!

Kou: Come on, eat! Mnekochan put lots of love into this dish, you definitely have to finish your plate!

Kou: How is it? It’s delicious right?

Y: (Ah, Subaru’s eyes are teary...)

I laughed so much during this. Kou is trying to use ‘shock’ treatment to make Subaru remember (that their memory is strange now, they aren’t really brothers in Violet family but Sakamaki and Mukami families) like rope trap, water bucket, force him to eat carrots. It all ends with Subaru still not remember, get very angry while Kou & Y run away.

Y: ...Kou.... I’m sorry, am I heavy? 

K: Not-at-all! Rather you’re so light that I’m worried. It’s alright. I’ll definitely protect you, so don’t worry and sleep. 

Y: (It’s a little bit painful, but it feels good...)

K: Even if it’s Ruki, I won’t hand Y over to you. 

Y, Kou and Azusa sneaked out of the mansion to look around, on the way back, they bumped into Yuma. Y volunteered to go with Yuma so that the 3 brothers won’t have to fight and hurt each other. Kou & Azusa insisted on going with her so all 3 got locked up in the Scarlet family’s dungeon. A lot of talking (you are our brother, Yuma!) still couldn’t persuade Yuma to remember the truth. Kou pretended to suck all of Y’s blood, Yuma went into the cell to stop Kou, but then Ruki & Orange family came to attack the Scarlet and locked the dungeon door. Kou & Azusa kept hitting the lock to no avail, finally Yuma hit it and it opened. Yuma asked why Kou was so desparate when the others are his enemies. Kou said no, not enemies, Ruki is his brother and the others are his friends so he can’t leave them. When they came up from underground and saw the sky, Yuma got his memory back, this sky was like when the four Mukami brothers escaped the orphanage.

Now Y, Kou, Azusa, Yuma lived in the wood, trying to hide from Ruki. The 3 bros don’t have confidence in fighting Ruki, and struggle to think of any plans bc Ruki is always the one who does the thinking :/ Eventually Ruki and Shin found them, Y again volunteered to go with Ruki but didn’t allow the other 3 to go along with her to protect them.

In Orange mansion, Y tried to persuade Ruki to remember but still no use. K sneaked in and with Y escaped from the window right in front of Ruki. They ran to the church where Y woke up at the beginning. Ruki caught up to them and had a sword fight with Kou. Kou got stabbed and collapsed. Y cried her eyes out; Ruki got his memories back, horrified to realize he just stabbed his brother and ....oh wait... this isn’t blood... it’s ketchup! Kou realized he needed a huge shock to get Ruki’s memory back so he put ketchup packs under his clothes and took a risk. Ruki asked Kou why, he could have died! Kou replied “If you have a wish, don’t give up” - didn’t Ruki tell Kou at the orphanage? That time Kou wished to see the blue sky once more, and now he wishes to live together with Y, hence he cannot give up. 

K: Hehe... caught you, Mnekochan! Nnnn, so warm... Fufu, I was pretending (acting) to be asleep. Today, I want to ichaicha with you :3

Y: (I thought we shouldn’t do this, but eventually I agree) ... Today, it’s okay for us to be late a bit. Right now, I want to properly feel that you are here, Kou, just for a little while.

K: ... Right, we will spend a splendid time and show off to the whole world. I won’t let anyone disturb us again. No matter what happens, I won’t be apart from you... Nnnn

I love the Heaven story! Kou was teaching Y how to blink. Poor Y really struggled so Kou said every time she fails, he’ll kiss her. I think he deliberately failed her continuously to kiss her loadsss haha and by the end of it, bless the dummy head mic, my ears exploded >v< Have I said I love Kimura Ryouhei’s kisses? Def not enough times, I loveee his kiss voice acting so much. Special mention to Kaji Yuuki and Tachibana Shinnosuke as well, their kisses are lethal to me ( ˘ ³˘)♥

I wanted to post this for Kou’s bday but it’s a week late, I’m sorry Kou T^T Out of 6 Kou’s routes, Chaos Lineage is my favourite! There are lots of fluffy moments for Y and Kou, heartwarming bonding between the Mukami brothers, and Kou fought very bravely to protect Y yayyy. I was sad while playing Lost Eden for Kou and Kanato, but luckily Chaos Lineage’s Kou gave me some hope to continue playing DL games (*´◡`*)

Nightshade DLC: Kuroyuki

Finally I bought Nightshade DLC & soundtrack. Kuroyuki is my favourite, but unbiased opinion - his story is the cutest in the DLC 😚 Second cutest one is Chojiro. Hmmm, probably unlikely but I still wish there would be a fandisk so I could see more of Kuroyuki, and maaaaybe, a route for Ieyasu like how Code realize fandisk has routes with sub chara? Main route for Ieyasu would be even more fantastic but I’ll take anything at this point ... I miss these 2 so much ;u;

This is technically Yuri’s bad end but Tei is in here (well, he is in lots of bad ends haha) and the CG is so beautiful I have to squeeze it into this post uwu. 

The good end is fluffy and aweee-I'm-glad-they're-happy but personally, I prefer Tei's bad ends, even the other guys' bad ends caused by Tei. I really like Tei's ZZZ recipe diary page too, can he make a ZZZ bubble tea version for me please :3 Was I scared of that doll CG? Well, I love DL Kanato, Jakou no Lyla Rolan and MM Unknown's Christmas DLC so bad ends of being turned into dolls for me are actually like (ノ*���▽゜*)

Even the cool and composed Sebastian has a different facial expression from usual.

When you give the chocolate to Dazai, suddenly he pulls your body closer

IkeSen (PS Vita): Ieyasu 💛

The second JP game I played on PS Vita is IkeSen, and of course I have to play my favourite warlord’s route first ( *¯ ³¯*)♡ There are 3 ends: Sengoku end (same as Mobile version’s Dramatic end), Modern end (similar to Mobile’s Romantic end but then wormhole took both of them back to modern time) and Tragic love end (only MC got taken back to modern time). 

Ieyasu: I said don’t touch her. 

Same CG as in the mobile version, when MC ran away from Azuchi castle in the rain, nearly got attack but Ieyasu saved her. 

This is before Ieyasu went on the mission to capture the guy attacking MC, she felt guity causing him troubles and worried for his safety hence he told her: This face doesn’t suit you at all. Just smile your usual goofy smile.

Well… it was a trap, Ieyasu was captured. Nobunaga & co came to save him, the bad guy nearly attacked MC again but Ieyasu saved her and collapsed. MC said she came along because wanted to do something for him, to be by his side and he told her: You are a real dummy. 

Now the bad guy was captured, MC had to come back to Azuchi castle as per Nobu’s order but on the way, Ieyasu took her to a beautiful flower field, MC was very sad to leave his palace, but he told her that his wounds had healed, he would come to Azuchi castle and see her face a lot, no need to feel lonely. And stop using keigo (polite/formal Japanese) with him while she didn’t use them with Hideyoshi and Masamune. He asked her to just call him “Ieyasu”. When she did, it was the first time she saw him smile (❁´▽`❁)*✲ﾟ*

Sengoku end

Ieyasu: We will always be together, until the day I die. 

Y: Ieyasu … I truly love you.

Exactly the same as the mobile version’s Dramatic end :3

Modern end

Just like the mobile version’s Romantic end, but after the sexy time, the wormhole appeared and took both of them back to the modern time. MC brought Ieyasu to her apartment, he was baffled by the modern equipments like washing machine and TV so she had to explain a lot to him. 

She showed him the textbook about him unified Japan and built a peaceful world, he said: That story sounds like a dream but I believe in it. I will definitely return to the turbulent time to build a world that leads to this present time, together with you. 

MC bought him modern clothes and thought You’re handsome like models, no, even more than models! ԅ(♡﹃♡ԅ)

Sudden kiss attack from Ieyasu! He said because she stared at him too much and she was too cute UwU She thought it was a miracle to be able to meet him and cried because she was too happy. He called her dummy but she still smiled because she understood Ieyasu-ese.

Y: Your “Dummy” means “I like you”, “Go away” mean “Stay here”, “Hate” means “Love”

Ieyasu: How about “I don’t need you”?

Y: I don’t need anyone but you, Ieyasu. I love you.

Ieyasu: I love you more ( ˘ ³˘(◡‿◡˶)

No one knows what will happen tomorrow but I strongly believe there is bright hope to cut through the darkness.
