Savior (p.sh x k.ys)
Tumblr media
Pairing: park seonghwa x kang yeosang
Genre: fantasy, witch!seonghwa, fairy!yeosang
Warnings: mentions of blood and wounds
Wc: 1.3k
Summary: Yeosang was chased by a wild animal and thought he wasn’t going to survive. But he was in luck. He had a savior.
Yeosang hadn’t stopped running for the gods only know how long.
If he could fly, that would’ve been much quicker, but he couldn’t. The damn animal that was chasing him had damaged one of his very delicate wings so now he couldn’t get off the ground without fumbling in the air and then falling anyway. So he ran. He ran as the animal kept almost catching him.
His feet were cut up and dirty, his perfectly white and silky dress had been torn up and dirtied. And his normally perfectly styled blonde hair was matted with sticks and dirt and even some blood from one of the times he’d tripped. He’d fallen and hit his head, but the adrenaline had been enough to keep him going.
However, the adrenaline could only keep him going for so long. He was running on fumes right now and was certain he was going to die. What about his parents? His older sister? His people? What will happen if they can’t ever find him again-
“Get down!!” a voice yelled. Yeosang saw a young man, dressed in all black. He had a bag slung across his chest, stuff protruding from it as it was running out of space. Yeosang almost froze from how mesmerizing he was. His pink hair falling nearly perfectly into his eyes that seemed to have pink eyeshadow around them. He almost forgot to get down. But what reminded him was the sound of breaking branches and leaves rustling behind him.
He quickly dropped to the ground and covered his head, shaking from exhaustion and fear as a bright purple light emitted from above him. The running seemed to start growing distant before he heard the footsteps of the man who had saved him. But before he could look up at his savior, he passed out.
A few hours later, Yeosang woke up on a couch in front of a fire. He was still beyond dirty, but his wounds had been cleaned and dressed. He slowly sat up, holding his head that was currently pounding when he heard a creak and flinched, quickly curling away.
“It’s alright..! I’m not going to hurt you,” It was the man from the woods that had saved him before.
He looked even more gorgeous up close, his skin being flawless. His eyes were a beautiful blue color with brown speckled in them. He wore a black lace choker and fingerless gloves, being dressed in a black frilly blouse and short black skirt as well. He looked ethereal. And that was something for the fairy to think since he was an ethereal being himself.
Yeosang stayed quiet as the unknown stranger slowly approached him, sitting on one of the chairs in the small living room. “I brought you some tea to help with the headache I’m sure you have. And I put some clothes in the bathroom for you so you could take a shower and change. I’m afraid I only ever dress in blacks and purples, so it’s nothing like you’re wearing,” the man was nervously rambling as if he didn’t see others often.
“What’s your name?” Yeosang’s savior looked surprised at the low tone to the fairy’s voice. He looked so delicate and this was the first time he’d seen encountered a fairy in real life.
“Oh..! Right, sorry. It’s Seonghwa. Park Seonghwa.”
“I’m Yeosang.”
The fairy looked shy as he stood in front of the bathroom mirror. He had taken a shower, getting himself clean. His blonde hair was hanging in his eyes as he stood there in front of the mirror, having changed into the dark clothing that the other man, Seonghwa, had given him. He was thankful for the boy’s wardrobe but it also made him extremely shy. The specific crop top that had been given to him had thin straps crisscrossed in the back and that let his wings be out comfortably.
The best way that his wings could be described was they were translucent with an iridescent glow to them. Some of the younger fairies who hadn’t gotten their wings yet always claimed his wings looked like bubbles stuck in thin wire. And he loved that description.
But the crop top, while much more revealing than he was used to, wasn’t the thing that made him shy. The skirt that Seongwha had given him to use. He was quite a bit smaller than his rescuer, but it still sat comfortably on his hips. The thing was that he could assume by its length that it was much, MUCH shorter on the other male. It had small chains hanging from the waistband and he just looked at himself.
He was also more modest, but this. Yeosang had never felt this way about his appearance before. While embarrassed, he felt…good. Hot, sexy. Those last two he had never felt in his life. Yet here he was, in a style so opposite his own and in clothes that belonged to another man.
Oh his parents would kill him if they found him like this.
He walked back down from the bathroom, looking around for Seonghwa, finding him in the kitchen. He was talking to a black cat on his kitchen windowsill and smiling while he did. That’s when the cat looked at Yeosang, making him back away a little and causing Seonghwa to look in his direction.
“Oh..! You’re finished. Don’t worry about this little one. This is Sannie, my familiar. I was just asking him to go to a couple of friends of ours to make some clothes more your style. I didn’t want you to have to wear my clothes all the time while you recovered,” Seonhwa rambled. Yeosang didn’t understand why Seonghwa kept rambling like he was nervous. He didn’t think he was intimidating.
“Thank you. I don’t mind your clothes, though,” Yeosang said quietly, getting Seonghwa to look up at him.
“Oh? Well, I’m glad. You can use some of my clothes for now but I’ll still get you some extra clothes of your own. It’ll just be easier. You look good in the top and skirt though..! Sorry if they’re too revealing,” Seonghwa said, rubbing the back of his neck as he looked to the side, the cat on the windowsill having disappeared to go and do as he was asked.
“It’s okay. And you said that cat was a familiar? You’re a witch?” Yeosang said a little nervously as he looked at him.
“Oh..! Yes, I am. But you don’t have to worry. I mainly am here for healing. Many animals and beings come to me to be healed. My natural energy is healing and I make healing remedies as well. Some of which I put in that tea you drank earlier,” Seonghwa quickly explained to the fair at the nervous tone. “I’m not like some witches you hear about in stories. My only purpose is to heal.”
Yeosang nodded softly as he stood there, playing with the fabric of the shirt he wore. “Alright,” he mumbled, his wings fluttering behind him a little, catching Seonghwa’s attention.
“You have very pretty wings,” he commented and Yeosang actually took a full step back. “I’m not going to touch, I promise..! I just wanted to say how pretty they look.”
Yeosang looked up at him. Most people who ever made a comment about his wings either wanted to kill him for them or touch them. And they were the most sensitive thing on his body. “Sorry…Most people dont have good intentions when it comes to my wings,” he mumbled.
Seonghwa could tell the fairy was nervous of him, so he took a few steps back. “Well, you should get some more rest. You’ll need it if you’re going to heal quicker,” he said with a small and a little sad smile. He then turned and went back to doing things in the kitchen.
Yeosang just wanted him. This man, this witch. Was something else. He was intrigued. Maybe he could stick around for a little while.

Unpacking (p.sh x s.mg)
Tumblr media
Pairing: park seonghwa x song mingi, side of yunho x yeosang
Genre: fluff, domestic fluff, happy ending, friends to lovers
Warnings: mentions of an abusive relationship, light mention of internalized homophobia
Wc: 1.4k
Summary: Seonghwa just got out of a bad relationship and is trying to start over. And truly find himself.
Closeted gay Seonghwa going through life, trying to deal with his identity. He ends up in college for art and shares a dorm with his spunky, D&D playing friends, Yunho and Yeosang, who are also not so subtly in love with one another. Seonghwa eventually gets with this girl, thinking that’s what he’s supposed to do since his outer friend group of guys all have girlfriends, despite his former roomies being raging homosexuals themselves.
He’s out of college and he just thinks that’s what he’s supposed to do. While this girl is attractive, he isn’t attracted to her in that way. Not to mention, she’s unbelievably controlling of Seonghwa and the space he can take up and what he can do.
Seonghwa’s dream is to illustrate a children’s book. Something he can read to his future children if the universe was kind enough. And any time he’s working on developing his style of art while she’s around, she berates him.
“Give up on that dream already,” she would nag while he was at his desk.
“You’re never getting anywhere with a bachelor’s in art, Seonghwa. Everyone knows you can’t go anywhere with something like that.”
And one day? He finally just…snapped, having had enough. He couldn’t deal with the abuse and the suffocating feeling in that apartment. A place where he barely even had room for his own personal belongings, let alone his emotions.
So, one day, while she’s at work, since it was his day off? He packed up all of his belongings, having called his mom the night before. He put everything into his rundown car, had the decency to leave a note, and drove home.
He was welcome back into his home with open arms, his parents hugging him close and welcoming him into his home. While he stayed with them for a while, he lived in his old childhood room that felt so small compared to when he was little. When he didn’t have a single care in his little world.
About a year later, he was back on his feet again. He had a good job and was able to rent out his own small house. And through Yunho and Yeosang, he met someone new. He was a writer and a plant loving guy named Mingi.
He was super sweet and goofy. And when he and Seonghwa were left alone for the first time, the eldest couldn’t help his fast beating heart and butterflies in his stomach. So, he confided in the couple that introduced them with the information, unsure of what he was feeling. And Yunho explained it to him simply.
“You have a crush on him.”
Seonghwa was taken aback by that bold statement. A crush? On a guy? His old friends always talked badly about that. Wasn’t it a bad thing?
“But. I thought it wasn’t a good thing to be gay,” he replied and Yeosang giggled to himself.
“Seonghwa Hyung. We’re gay,” he gestured to him and Yunho. “There’s nothing wrong with it if that’s who you are. If you like Mingi, then I say go for it! He may like you back. And you deserve something good after working so hard for so long.”
Seonghwa had plenty to think about after that conversation. So he went home and did some research online for the next few days. To see if there were people in the world with a similar situation to his. And what he found astounded him. There were people who were all kinds of sexualities and genders who’d felt similarly to him. And he realized that Yunho and Yeosang were right.
No wonder he never felt fully attracted to his ex-girlfriend. It’s because he was gay. After taking this all into consideration, he decided to meet with Mingi to talk to him about it.
Seonghwa had asked to meet at a nice little cafe near his place. He was sitting in the corner, where he always was since it was a cozy corner. He’d gotten himself a coffee and Mingi a smoothie since he knew what the other like. And when the boy with the faded orange hair walked in, Seonghwa waved him over.
“Hey Hyung!” Mingi said happily. “Sorry if I’m late or made you wait.”
“No, not at all. I haven’t been sitting here very long,” the eldest said, brushing some of his pink hair out of his eyes. Mingi smiled and sat down, sipping from his smoothie.
“So. What did you want to talk to me about?” Mingi asked.
Seonghwa got nervous and kept his cold, clammy hands wrapped around the warmth of his coffee cup. He cleared his throat as he looked at the table. “Well, I was talking with Yunho and Sangie the other day. And they helped me to realize something about myself. I, um…I’m…gay…” he mumbled quietly, worried of a possible backlash or nasty comment.
“Oh! That’s cool! I’m bi myself,” Mingi replied rather nonchalantly. “I’ve kinda known since I was like, eight. But I didn’t have a term for it until I was in high school. I found the term and it just cemented what I was already thinking.
Seonghwa was in shock. “You figured it out that soon?” he asked timidly. He was already in his mid twenties. Was he supposed to find this out sooner?
“Yeah, but that’s the thing. Some people figure it out when they’re young like me. And some people don’t figure that stuff out until later in life like you. We’re constantly evolving and changing human beings. Everyone is different and no one’s experience is the correct way to do things. Everyone is different.” Mingi’s words gave the elder confidence and he nodded a little. “Alright. Well, I had two reasons for bringing this up to you. One was to tell you because I value you as a person close to me,” he saw Mingi smile at that and it made Seonghwa’s heart fill with happiness.
“What was the second reason?” Mingi asked.
“Well, the second reason was…Well, I talked with Sangie and Yunho about this, but…I think I like you, Mingi. I get all nervous and flustered and at first, I was just confused. But then they both helped me to figure out that I was gay,” Seonghwa said rather hurriedly, starting to mutter nervously to himself. It had been a few years since he had been with his girlfriend. He had moved on, believe him. But the way she’d treated him.
He didn’t want to go through all of that again. And that’s when Mingi took his hand, stopping his mumbling to look up at the younger.
“Would you like to go on a date with me?” he asked smoothly, shocking Seonghwa for another time that day. But after the initial shock, he of course said yes.
A couple of years later, they’d been dating each other and living together for a long time. And Mingi asked Seonghwa to marry him. He of course said year. Now nearly four years into their relationship, they are both successful artists. Seonghwa finally illustrated a best selling children’s book that Mingi himself had written the story for. They had bought a house together, rather big for only two men who were freshly married. They had almost finished unpacking. But there was one last room they needed to unpack. They walked inside and Seonghwa pulled out his pocket knife to cut through the tap of the packing boxes. Mingi began helping him as they started stowing stuff away in the right drawers and shelves.
That was when Seonghwa pulled out his favorite black dragon plushie from when he was little, the green of the animal’s eyes still just as vibrant as the day he’d received it. It had been patched up from the wear and tear of being used by him for so long, but he was still doing alright. He looked at Mingi and they smiled at one another. Seonghwa took the plushie and walked across the room, gently setting it down in the crib in the room.
He stood up straight to look around the nursery, Mingi coming over to wrap an arm around his waist. The elder rested his head against the taller’s shoulder as they looked around. “I can’t wait to meet her,” Seonghwa said.
“Neither can I. we’re going to make sure she gets all the love she deserves,” Mingi responded. Seonghwa just smiled and nodded, nuzzling into his husband’s shoulder. He couldn’t believe where his life had led him. The day where he found himself married with a baby on the way. While not traditional? It was perfect.
His life was perfect. Just the way it was.

pointers for writinys moving to tumblr ig
censoring isnt a thing here
you can upload 30 images a post, so you can do one whole socmed au update in one single post
you Can post your fic on here, but put it under a read more
no one cares if u block them
make use of the tag filters (they actually work) to avoid content u dislike (eg. ive blocked #ateez x reader)
tag things so ur followers can avoid them !!! just a plain simple tag, because most people wont have variations of every tag accounted for (eg. #yunhwa)
use a custom theme (@theme-hunter has great ones) so that you can have a separate page for your about and dni and stuff
use desktop when you can. the mobile app is not very good and doesnt have as much functionality
dont try to start discourse. you will be mocked
you can use tags to search your own blog! so tag things you like with #save or #bookmark, or have a #reference tag!
spamming reblogs is not the same as being a rt bot. if you never reblog the posts you like, people will think ur an asshole bc likes are private and provide no materail benefit to the op
