Got bullied by my friend to post my Cookie OC so uhhhhh, here she is!

Meet Color Drop Cookie! She's a drop-out from the Parfaedia Institute, not because of poor grades or anything, but simply because she felt like the classes didn't allow her to explore magic in ways she wanted.

She believes magic is another form of self-expression. Math? Precision? Calculations? BORING! She loves getting messy with it, but she's at least considerate enough to help clean up the messes she causes.

Color Drop Cookie doesn't have much when it comes to fragrance or flavor, as most of her is just Food Coloring.

One can often find her in the backstreets painting intricate murals or other forms of graffiti, experimenting and perfecting her craft.

However be careful not to get too close to her pieces, as they tend to have minds of their own! With her Magiart she can create portals, summon creatures, and much more!

Despite all the trouble she causes, she truly means well. She is always swift to encourage others to express themselves. While her criticism may be blunt at times, it's always with the intent to build up the other artists and push them to improve further.

She believes art is something that can bring cookies together and that anyone and everyone can paint.

So there was a fic. "Small Fry" is it's name. The premise of the fic is that the transformers are toys and the humans have to live with the chaos.

My interests are so niche, that I cannot find another fic with this concept, and it will forever drive me crazy.

I would write my own one, but I doubt anyone would read it, or I could even fulfill such a thing. I'll probably make an outline at least, but yeah.

Though fun ask for you! What is your biggest inspiration for what you write shadow milk? Do you base some of his characteristics off of some other characters you know? Or did you break down what content we have so far of him to understand what your working with?

Oh no, the scene I was working on last night was for the Act 1 Finale. :’)

Now THAT one is going to be a roller coaster.

As for my inspiration for how I write Shadow Milk Cookie, part of it is me going off of my rough character analysis of him from what little we have of him so far.

but another inspiration for how I write him is - uh - Rattigan from the Great Mouse Detective. 😅

He is one of my all time favorites when it comes to villains.

About the AO3 "No Guest Comments for a while" warning

If you're not following any of AO3's social media accounts you might be in the dark as to what kind of "spam comments" have engendered this banner at the top of the site:

These spam comments have been posted about a great deal on the AO3 subreddit for the past couple of days. Initially they comprised a bunch of guest (logged out users) bot comments that insulted authors by suggesting they were using AI and not writing their own fics. Some examples, from the subreddit:

But it then escalated to outright graphic porn images and gifs being posted in comments, again by logged out 'Guest' accounts. Obviously, I'm not going to give examples of those, but between these two bot infestations, AO3 has clearly decided to act and has temporarily closed the ability to post comments for users who are not logged in with an AO3 account.

Unfortunately, this means that genuine readers who don't have an AO3 account won't be able to leave comments on fics that they enjoy.

If you are a genuine reader who doesn't yet have an AO3 account, I strongly suggest getting yourself on the waiting list for one. More and more AO3 authors are now locking their fics down to registered users only - either due to these bot comments or concerns about AI scraping their work - which means you're probably missing out on a lot of great stuff.

Hopefully guest commenting will be enabled again at some point soon, but I suggest not waiting until then. Get yourself on that list.

Wait times are going to be longer than usual at the moment, due to the current Wattpad purge [info on Fanlore | Wattpad subreddit thread], but if you're in line, then your invite will come through eventually.
