is typing....... . . . . Thanksgiving is coming. Do you find yourself bursting in praises of what the Lord had done for you? A few days ago, I've been pretty down due to the fact that I was facing financial issues. I was worried about it so much that I stopped communicating with my loved ones for a while. It was not until just now that the Lord had told me to stop worrying and to just sing praises to Him. Even Jesus told us that He'll provide everything for us. If the sparrows are well taken care of, then how much more valuable we are to Him than those little birds? I know I'm getting off topic with this, but even in the midst of your suffering, give praises. You can be glad that you have a strong Pillar you can rely on to hold you up. What are you thankful for? is typing..... . . . We all feel abandoned and lonely sometimes. I do too, especially when I'm feeling emotionally exhausted and I'm feeling negative. It's hard to know that God was there for us even though we know that He was there. We couldn't see Him, so we thought He had abandoned us. But truth is, He was there. Even if our own parents abandoned me, He is still with us. Yesterday I was talking to a sister, and she said that she got a job raise and better payments. It was a good thing, and it should be rejoiced. However, her dad didn't congratulate her, and even compared his pay rate with hers. It made her feel so upset. She felt like her dad was not proud of her. So I shared this verse with her. She felt better. What about you? Are there any moments that you feel like you're alone? Do you feel like the world was against you? How can you let it go and let the Lord remind you that He was there holding you close? Heya! My name is Leah. I haven't been a new user on Tumblr, nor am I a new Christian. However, I do feel compelled to share my story of how I meet God in the midst of my brokenness. I hope whoever read this would get encouraged and would grow closer with the Lord.

I was born with a rare condition named Osteogenesis Imperfecta. In plain English, it means I have a brittle bones condition. I was abandoned by my birth parents after 3 days I was born. However, God did not forsaken me. I was later found by a couple who couldn't have children of their own because the lady had diabetes. I grew up under their roof without knowing that I wasn't their daughter. Happiness didn't last long, as when I was 7, my foster dad lost his job, and the family did not have enough money to feed an extra mouth, not to mention that I was not their legal child so they couldn't keep me anymore. After finding a suitable orphanage, they left me with the orphanage staff.

However, God still haven't forsaken me. When I was 8, I had the opportunity to travel to the capital of China (I was born and raised in China) to get medical help for my condition. By grace, I met God there and gave my life to Him. The following year, I was baptized.

It seemed like Satan really love to fight with God to get a grip on me, as I was sexually abused during my time there. For a period of time, it was hard for me since it felt like God had forsaken me. I started to show signs of depression and other symptoms of being assaulted. Though it may felt like that God had forgotten about me, He never did. I was adopted at the age of 13 and the following year, the abuser was thrown in jail.

Why am I telling you this? Because I wanted to tell you that even if you feel alone, you're never alone. Even in the most dire situation. You may not have seen it at the moment, but He was with you. He can make everything work out for His glory. We just gotta trust His timing, and that He'll do what's best for you. Please remember, He sees, He knows, and He hears. And guess what? He still loves you, no matter what. Aren't you glad that God loves you so much like that? I know I am
