looking through hysteria machine page, the artist who did vessel current mask, and wishfully if Vessel decided to get a new one it would be done by her again.

nothing against Lani mask, he made the other guys looking like angry intimidating trio which is cool af. fit their vibes. but for Vessel, specifically, idk... doesn't really suit him in my super humble opinion.

I hope Vessel is alright. I'm sure he's devastated, but I hope he was somewhat uplifted by the fact that most people stayed and sang for him. I hope he rests and recovers. I hope he isn't disheartened by this. I hope we as a fandom can show him we're behind him, that we want him to be well.

It is yet another reminder that there is a human behind the mask, and some people will hate that. I won't blame people for being frustrated or disappointed or sad— that's normal human stuff. What I hate to see is people being disrespectful or entitled. Vessel is human. These things happen. We overestimate our capability. We strive to please. We push ourselves too far. This is normal life. Accept it.

And the fact that Vessel kept going— the fact that they still played the set— the fact that the crowd happily and willingly sang for him— it says everything about this band and their character.

Finally— please bear in mind that behind Sleep Token are people. Normal people. We don't know who they are, but we don't need their identities to treat them with kindness and respect.
