Courfeyrac did indeed have that vivacity of spirit might be called the waggish charm of youth. Later on, this fades, like a kitten's winsomeness, and all this appeal leads in the end (on two feet) to the bourgeois and (on four paws) to the tomcat.
i need you to know that i've been having prouvaire/feuilly related dreams for the past week. what spell did you cast upon me after i looked through your les mis art again (positive)
Thank u….I miss them too
(PS I need to know what your dreams are 👁👁)
I know Cosettes little lead sword/rag doll gets forgotten about after she gets Catherine but I like to imagine that Valjean shoves it in his BIG POCKETS and forgets about it so after he dies Cosette finds it amidst her old clothes that Valjean kept.
Then Cosette and Marius trade weird childhood memories so Marius goes “I used to exclusively socialise in outdated salons for elderly royalists” and then Cosette will say “in between backbreaking work I brought joy into my life by decapitating flies”.
This is all just part of my desire to have an adaption of les mis where the framing device is Cosette reading her Fathers letter to her with Marius interjecting with info about his Father, Waterloo, and les amis. The story keeps cutting back to Cosette and Marius finding various story relevant nick-nacks in Valjeans belongings, and/or reacting to the latest wacky coincidence.
Also there’s a whole dramatic irony thing with some parts of the story because we, as the audience, are shown the full story but Cosette only knows/reacts to what Valjean writes. Like with Javerts suicide: we see it play out but Cosette just gets “and on a completely unrelated note Javert committed suicide, what’s up with that?” .
Hi this is so random but I just wanted to say that your artwork is wonderful! Les mis is my favourite book of all time, and seeing your artwork always makes me smile. Jean prouvaire is my absolute favourite, and I hold the little prince really close to my heart, so it’s so lovely to see the crossover. I hope you have an extremely lovely day and thank you!!!
What a lovely compliment! I just want you to know that these kind of message makes my day always💕 Thank you! I'll try to show much of cute Jehan content(since he's my favorite character from Les Mis too☺️)
