i take being a girl gentleman very seriously never forget that

i tell my sister shes gorgeous, i remind her how intelligent and beautiful she is.

i tell my mother shes gorgeous, i remind her how much shes achieved all on her own and what an amazing person she is.

i smile at female employees everywhere, i dont care if they dont smile back.

a woman once told me my dress was pretty and i had a beautiful smile, i told her her hair looked amazing and she was beautiful.

i love women, i go out of my way to compliment them.

i told a woman she was beautiful, i told another she was kind, i told a woman i didn't know good job as she had talked to me about something she achieved while we were in the elevator together.

i love women and i don't expect love back.

i dont enjoy the occasional glares, the eye rolls, the scoffs, i dont, but i love women too much to let that get to me.

i love them and they are all beautiful, their apperance doesn't matter, they're all beautiful to me.

the old women who smile at me, who i help carry their items, the young girls who giggle and ramble on about something i dont understand, the baby girls who stare at me when we're in a line, the teenage girls who dont return my smiles, the women in their 20s with kind eyes, the exhausted mother who still spares me a smile, i love them all, i want to listen to their stories, i do.

i will always be curious, i will always wonder, i will always give my cashier a few seconds to tell me about her hair i had just complimented, how significant it is to her, ill always praise the exhausted mother, i know she deserves it, ill always ask the older ladies to tell me about themselves, theyre women and i want to know about them.

i love women, and that does not mean some of them arent bad, it does not mean i think women are angels who do no wrong.

i just love women, i will never not be curious to hear their stories.

Be kind with yourself as while you're healing it may happen that casual events that do not depend on you, may trigger one of your old wounds and make it bleed without you noticing the correlation. For example a friend suddenly moving to a different place for work, doesn't mean it's your fault or you're responsible of something: they're not abandoning you; nor it means you're not worthy enough for people to stay in your life or that everyone will end up leaving you and you deserve to stay alone. Even if it may be hard especially if it's a tough period for you, remind yourself to always put things into the right perspective. Do not let anxiety take over, as it's very likely wrong and making you focus on the wrong subject (your self worth).
