EVENT UPDATE

MAIN EVENT: DAY OF UNITY PART II

    I am going to be EXTENDING the day of unity event through the end of NEXT weekend because my internet got knocked out by the tornado/severe storms that came through yesterday.

           So all threads will be allowed to be started till 1/17 && I will continue them through 1/23rd.

      I also may not do much until monday the 16th since thats when they are supposed to be fixing the issue. I apologize for the delay. I will make a starter call for the event/make starters as I can with my mobile hot spot. Though I don’t want to use that too much as it runs my bill up

    As the event was SUPPOSED to be 1/13 & 1/14th respectively I will also not be timelocking the threads. They are free to take place during/before/or after regardless of when I make the starter..

Just a little relationships headcannon I have for Sora;

Over the few years of writing him, Sora as a muse has very much come off to me as on the Aro spectrum. && definitely Ace. I wouldn’t say he is completely aromantic. However---at best he is very very heavily demi-romantic.

 It’s partially one of the reasons his crush on Kairi and subsequent heartbreak was such a huge thing for him. Because she was the only crush he ever had because she was his best friend until they were teenagers.

   As a whole though, for Sora (at least my muse), Platonic relationships and bonds come much more naturally to him. They are what he values most and can understand the easiest.  That isn’t to say he cannot like someone romantically, but it takes several years of knowing him and getting close to him. A solid and deep friendship / platonic connection is required to unlock the possibility of something more.

 (Which is surprisingly hard despite how friendly he is because he’s always moving and doing things. He meets a lot of people but doesnt KNOW a lot of people well)

       Tdlr; if he were in a dating sim/ harvest moon game he’d be one of those candidates you couldn’t unlock upper heart levels for until you were in year 4-5 and had his friendship level at like 90 first. lol.

“ Olette! H-”

  “---Woah! ”

     Before Sora could even get a word out to finish his greeting, he felt the girls hands on either side of his face. Hands flew out to either side in confusion only to feel Olette’s lips on his own.  Icy blue eyes widened in shock and confusion briefly. Before finally he exhaled and relaxed into the kiss. Arms came back to rest on Olette’s sides, letting the affection happen.

                 While he was relaxed in the moment, once Olette released him his mind raced.  What had caused this so suddenly? Did this change things? He wasn’t sure. All he knew was that he liked Olette a lot and didn’t want things to get weird, or awkward. Or for him to mess it up somehow by not being around.

             Besides...the only time he’d ever had feelings for a girl that were similar was with Kairi years ago and that went...disastrously. The boy’d never really felt confident in those emotions or connections since.

          Despite all these insecurities in his mind, Sora’s face would not tell it. A bright warm smile appears on his features afterwards as he rubs the back of his neck. A dusting of pink on his cheeks.

                  “ Hah...yeah. Happy new year Olette! ”

                             “ It’s really great to be back.”
