a│s : different sides of regression

the beauty of regression is how unique it is to an individual, one person's regression journey isn't going to look exactly the same as another.

why? because we have different likes, different hobbies and different lifestyles.

and that's completely okay!

i have noticed though that some sides of regression don't really get talked about or voiced a lot, so i thought i'd jump up on today and normalise some of the different things i use to regress or incorporate in my regression journey to show that using different/non pastel things doesn't make you invalid <3.

examples of my personal regression ˚ʚ♡ɞ˚‧

⭐ i sometimes use horror movies to regress! my favourites have to be occult style horrors! god-they're always so well wriitten.

⭐ i sometimes watch true crime and crime documentaries to regress, i have a degree in crime so i used to watch loads to study.

⭐ i adore watching scary / weird gaming videos to regress, fran bow is my favourite (i'm actually watching daz games now) <3

⭐ as a pagan, witchcraft is a key element of my life so i have an altar, spell jars, potions, sigils, witch's bells everywhere in the house. as well as specific clothing we use to celebrate festivals and deity worship.

⭐ my clothing is not always pastel & cute, i have darker clothing which i adore too! <3

eminder: this is to share and promote that we're all different, you may like or do these things & you may not. both are completely okay! this is to help those little ones who feel weird for using/liking things that aren't commonly talked about, and to help show them that theyre still completely valid in the community.<3.

☆ Konata

Konata is the outgoing little tyke that causes a little chaos no matter her age, and loves feeling safe being herself around her friends.

Kona-chan was introduced to agere by Tsukasa and Kagami when they became close friends, and uses it to cope with insecurities. Her regression is a big mix of voluntary and involuntary, but always sticks to the 5-7 range.

Her favourite agere things to do are colouring pages of her current favourite anime, and go out to the park and climb the impossible trees! Despite her laziness, she very much enjoys going out and getting her hands dirty with crafts or sports.

Even out of regression, she struggles to understand "simple" things sometimes, and needs extra support and explanations when in tiny mode. Thankfully, she has a great group of regressor friends to help out with what she needs.

Konata adores sweets, and will nag her cg to buy her that chocolate bar she's been eyeing since they got to the store— even if she doesn't get her way, she'll get cuddles afterwards, so there's no real downside to her cheeky demands.

☆ Tsukasa

Tsukasa is the world's sleepiest little one! She's the most frequent age regressor, involuntarily becoming small whenever she needs a nap or sees something cute.

She may be a handful due to how easily scared she is, and will cling to whoever she feels safe with constantly. While regressed she's especially sensitive to sound and needs quiet time with Kona-chan or her cg if overwhelmed.

A lot of the time will be spent taking loooong naps in nests full of her favourite agere equipment; her sippy cups, comforter plushies and fluffiest blankets. Read her a bed-time story and she'll love you forever!

Tsukasa is also a pet regressor; mostly to small rodents like ferrets or rabbits — when she has the energy she loves to play catch, and indulge in her favourite trail mix, berries or potato salads!

She regresses to pretty young ages, around 4/5, and contrasts her agere-sibling, Konata's, adventurous personality with her soft-spoken and lax demeanor.

☆ Miyuki

Yuki-chan is the group's resident flip! Often more regressed than acting as a caregiver, she loves looking after her friends no matter her age!

Miyuki usually regressed around the ages of 8-10, enjoying a bit more freedom in her little state. Her regression is largely voluntary but will also slip into kid mode if she's overly stressed about something.

When tiny, she's more comfortable being dependent on the others, asking for help when she needs it (for example, taking her medication or if she needs extra assistance preparing food.) Her favourite thing to do while regressing is throw tea parties with her plushies!

As a caregiver, she takes the role of mama and makes sure her babies are pampered! Yuki tends to over-worry about the little ones and prepares a lot of snacks and activities for them to do— even if it's last-minute due to hair air-headedness, she'll be sure to get her kiddos anything they need.

Caring for her friends soothes her anxiety and makes it a little easier to go out, but she'll still prefer easy-going days cuddled up watching kids films with her kiddos above all!

☆ Kagami

Kagami is the group's primary caregiver, she has plenty of experience watching out for Tsukasa and the rest of her family.

She's already known for naturally looking after herself best, so it's not too draining for her to look after her friends while they're regressed. Kagami makes sure her kiddos know that they're not a burden to her energy.

A lot stricter than Yuki, Kagami is firm on things like bedtimes and keeping a healthy diet; she'll try her best to explain the reasons why however many times are necessary for the little ones to understand.

Though things like homework and bedtimes are a must, she does have a soft spot for her friends clinging to her. As long as they get to sleep on time, it's no biggie if they crawl into bed with her to keep warm and cozy. (Again, this is pretty common with Tsukasa whether regressed or not.)

Her favourite things to do with the kiddos are sticker workbooks and going to pet shops/farms to meet animals. If Konata's lucky Kagami will buy her a kids anime magazine to collect the stickers/toy sets.

i had such a fun playdate with @lalas-small-place and @juneagere !!! we watched lucky star and talked a lot and we pretended to be animals and it was sosososso fun!!
