I've discovered Astro during the pandemic which was also when my mental health starting deteriorating so bad. I was so F'd up and Astro became one of the reasons I looked forward to the next day and the next until I slowly became better. (Funny thing too was my fiancee was initially jealous of Binnie but he said it was hard to sustain negative feelings towards something that made me happy which was fangirling.) They were literally the bright, dazzling stars under my dark, gloomy sky. Initially I hoped that if Rocky won't renew his contract, the setup would be like with Wheein with Mamamoo. Seeing article after article that he had left Fantagio AND Astro is heartbreaking to say the least. I'm not giving Astro up but that gap, that hole, that space will always be for Rocky. It will always be OT6 for me until the last "Wanna be your star".

I didn't cry when news about Rocky leaving Astro broke out but that night I barely slept. There's this one app I have where OT6 is my header and my heart breaks a little knowing I wouldn't see them performing as 6 again. I've been a fangirl for a while now but I haven't known this ache since Sistar disbanded. That's how much Astro has made an impact on my life.

I kinda saw it coming but I kinda hoped I was wrong. I thought we'd get to see Astro as 6 again after MJ finishes his military service but that was wishful thinking. I thought my fangirl heart was immune to this but damn it hurts like a b*tch. Arohas worldwide must be going insane right now. Good job Fantagio. FU for letting him go without a fight.

I wish you luck and success on the road ahead Rocky! There's still Arohas and Pebbles who will support you in your future endeavors. We'd always love you and we'd always have your back!

You both had lived busy lives but you promised to spend tonight together. So you found yourselves huddled in the back of his pick-up truck which he has made as cozy as he could. Watching the starlit sky was one of your bucket list but of course it had to rain that night and you ended up in a random parking area, watching movies on his laptop and seated as closely as possible.

He had an arm slung across your shoulder and you nuzzled comfortably on his. At this space, at this time, it was just you and him and the beer in your hand and the sparkling water for him. He never drank a sip when he drove with you, he was responsible like that. It was one of the things you loved about him.

The movie's audio was set so low you could barely make out the conversation of the actors but you actually didn't care. He had you enveloped in his warmth and you were content and happy. You let out a sigh of contentment and you saw him smile through the corner of your eyes.

You then talked about your future, of the house you dreamed to have and the grand wedding he wanted to give you. You punched him lightly when he jokingly said he wanted five kids at the minimum.

You talked about how you'd annoy your children and grandchildren with your endless parade of affection and how he'd hold your hand lovingly like today for the rest of your lives. It will be you and him, wrinkles and all.

He dropped you off at your place and just when you were about to get off, he grabbed and kissed you--gentle and tentative at first but needy and demanding as soon as you responded. There was only silence as you and him broke off from the kiss, each one afraid to break that wonderful bubble but he eventually got the courage to whisper that he loves you. You smiled and nodded and said you loved him too.

You waved him off with a lovestruck look in your eyes and once he was far enough to not see, you finally let yourself break down.

You both decided to meet up for one last time before you let each other go.
