I had a lot of fun making Invisible Man references when Letters from Watson as going through The Red Circle and its mysterious over-paying boarder, so I thought I’d compare the rent from that story to how much Griffin pays for his room in Iping.

Unfortunately this chapter doesn’t SAY how long of a stay he gets with his 2 sovereigns ($150 today if the online calculators are correct), which makes it hard to compare to The Red Circle’s 50 shillings (2.2 sovereigns) a week. Plus that was in London while this is the absolute middle of nowhere, so I strongly doubt the going rates would compare.

For the record, the high school student and the girl with 7 evil exes are two separate people. The closest he's gotten to supernatural is the 3rd ex, and Scott couldn't really do anything until Todd got depowered by the Vegan Police(long story). Even if he still had his extra life, it would probably just delay the inevitable.

Could Scott Pilgrim survive Castle Dracula?

All I know about Scott Pilgrim is that he's dating a high school student (derogatory). And he's from Toronto? My understanding is he gets to use comic book rules and has to defeat her seven eldritch exes. So let's have a poll about it.

Now I'm imagining the scene where Dracula steals Jonathan's clothes to kidnap children but Dracula is completely naked save for a red t-shirt XD

ngl I think Pete fits better as the captain of the Demeter, just have him mention his janitor Michael assaulting the animals on the ship.

There was a time when I considered developing a Dracula/Winnie the Pooh story (with Sherlock Holmes and Van Helsing, too).

It would have been about Dracula acquiring land in the Hundred Acre Woods, with Pooh and Piglet being stand-ins for Renfield and Jonathan.

(Also, Dracula would have used honey barrels and bees to move his body across continents.)

Tho, now that Steamboat Rodent is in the public domain, I can't help but imagine how perfect he would be as captain of the Demeter.
