So i was re-watching st and this is was confuessing to me

So thw scene i am talking about is s4e1 and like the first 10mins. So this is after mike was reading els letter ad nancy was yelling at him. And karen and mike are talking about the flight that mike has the go on the see the byers.

And mike is conplaining about having to go to bed at 9 bc the flight is at 6 and he has hell fire. but then ted says some that make me freak out. hes says "9pm or no sweetie pie" and to this mike makes a confused face.

Now why would make a confussed face? Mike knows ted is talking about El.....

Or is he.

Now we know that ted and karen do not know about el bc in season one the goverment ppl came and told them to stay away from her. And im guessing that they dont know that the byers adopted el.

So who was ted talking about? im guessing it was will and that was another lowkey homophobic comment that he made.

again the wheelers(besides mike and nance) dont know that el is there and that he has a gf so why would ted say that instead of trying to indacated that mike and will were lovers.

Also with the letters that els sends they dont know that those are from el so I think they think that those are from will.

and this is just another way that the duffers re showing that byler is real?
