Currently Steam is using their arbitration clause to try to stifle a class lawsuit against them - they are arguing that every claimant needs a separate arbitration that the claimnent needs to secure representation for, thereby breaking the class.

It sounds like horseshit to me and I doubt it will stand up in court, but these kinds of things can apply to you if there is later a class action lawsuit

What really gets me about the sentiment "Don't look away" is that its always used in the wrong context. People may be well meaning, but what they end up doing is flooding the conversation with zionist carnage in a manner not unlike the way zionists *want* their atrocities to be seen.

Rather than thinking, "I must traumatize myself with this image for Palestine," try, "I will not turn my back on the people of Palestine." Watching them die is not enough. Speaking only of their suffering is not enough.

Don't look away when Palestinians resist. Don't condemn them when they fight for their lives and land. Speak for their rights to live and move freely in their own homeland. Do not look away from their life. Palestinians are here, they remain, and they will remain, and they are in the future, and they will live free and happy lives just as anyone else should be able to.

"Don't look away" should not be a call to engage in real life atrocities like its a horror movie. "Don't look away" should be a call to make Palestine the focus of everything. Don't let people FORGET or IGNORE what is happening. You can talk about what is happening without sharing the same ghoulish photos that zionists love.

no offense but if your biggest worry during times of us-backed genocide is that some protests of that genocide make you uncomfortable maybe get your priorities in line

don't splinter groups that clearly are on the right side of history by pointing to their worst attributes. antisemitism is and has always been everywhere, but those fighting against genocide are not defined by "LARPing" or by some actors who have a wrong idea of how best to fight against genocide.

Protests will ALWAYS have negative consequence or bad actors. Its your job to recognize when those bad actors are the majority, when its astroturfed, or when the overall message of the protest is far greater and more important than these issues.

May I also remind everyone when we last saw this kind of dismantling of grassroots movement - not just weaponized against BLM but also when the women's march was systemically dismantled by zionists by weaponizing claims of antisemitism because they were not pro-Israel.

Obviously no action or movement is all good or all bad. Don't let people adding black to your white or vice versa make you lose sight of the overall shade of the action.

I’m so sick of seeing videos and posts of a bunch of privileged college students who decided to make a geopolitical conflict their whole personality and who view college as a LARPing opportunity instead of fucking school. People in Gaza are still hungry and displaced, Hamas still has hostages, but don’t worry, guys! Students at Columbia are being antisemitic by praising 10/7 and cosplaying anarchy instead of going to class “for Palestine”!
