Drake and Pac both the biggest rap artists of all time and both deeply studied women’s perspectives and saw through their eyes what they have to put up with. Think about that in industry where mysgony can earn you more credibility at times.
I used to think gender equality was over for the most part because my textbooks would teach that the same way they said racism ended with MLK. We’re almost being taught to suppress and deny current human needs at times. Women can’t walk alone at night and it really makes you think how many people are still in their dark ages but we’re taught to label it a renaissance.
How much of the best music comes from women’s pain on both sides?
