Wine Glass shatter test 2

Tweaked settings - higher initial velocity, lower subdivide level for faster rendering. 

Too much fracturing, for more realism I would like larger pieces to be preserved instead of disintegrating on second/third contact with the ground plane.

Updated colour scheme for Ghost - based on the warm tone palette.

Final Ghost turnaround. I think this is way better now I’ve added arms, but she’s definitely not a ghost anymore. Maybe that’s a cool name for her anyway.

I could’t decide between two of my ghost concepts… so I ended up taking aspects from both designs and merging them. I’m particularly glad to get rid of the fog around #1’s feet, even if I liked the initial design. If I were to take this character all the way through to be modelled and animated, that might have been too impractical in terms of the rolling fog-like movement I’m imagining.

I ended up being pretty picky with the facial features. I think subconsciously I was drawing them too similar to my reference pictures~ some of those designs just ended up being too evil, or portraying a completely different emotion to what I was looking for. I’m pleased with the shaded design above though. Robot coming up~~
