What was Stefan doing in season 5. Like genuinely what was he doing in season 5 because the man was a vagabond to me.
Came back to have amnesia, sleeping with Tess, Doppelganger plot line that don't make sense and Katherine. Stefan was such a vagabond this season and it doesn't work with the character and show. He should've been at uni with the girls cause that would make more sense than Alaric.

the later seasons of tvd would’ve been so much better had bonnie and caroline switched love interests and storylines.
it would’ve made more sense for stefonnie to get together, bonnie have kids (whether they be the gemini twins or not), stefan take the cure from elena, and open as supernatural school.
it also would’ve made more sense for caroline to fall for enzo (a vampire that actually enjoyed vampirism and fit her moral standards) and did the whole annoyance to lovers trope.
bonnie showed interest in having kids and was far more equipped to teach the next generation of supernaturals. additionally stefonnie had a much better set up post season 4 and kat and paul had amazing chemistry.
caroline never showed interest in children in any way shape or form and enjoyed every aspect of vampirism. it would’ve been more fitting for her to be with someone that fit the immortal lifestyle she set out to live, which enzo could’ve done (i honestly would’ve loved single!caroline but if i couldn’t have that or forwood, carenzo would’ve been my next choice for her).

so do you think bonnie needs kids to be happy??
Bonnie doesn’t need kids to be happy. No one needs kids to be happy. Not everyone wants to have kids. But Bonnie does say she wanted the life they Caroline was having with Stefan. Which was having a home, a boyfriend, kids, and a family. She wanted to have something to come home too. She was tired of being alone in the world.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Unlike characters like Hayley, Caroline and Elena. This was the only time Bonnie ever admitted to wanting a future that had nothing to do with anyone else from Mystic Falls.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
All Bonnie has ever wanted is family. She immediately wanted to go with Lucy after just meeting her. Despite loving her friends, that connection doesn't feel the same. It makes sense for Bonnie to want to settle down one day and have a family of her own. Children are part of that dream. She's more than just a good friend and a powerful witch. She'd want to create a happy home as a mother. Is having kids a necessity? No but it's what she wants and would make her happy.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Bonnie’s relationship with her mother is strained. Abby never wanted to stay with her or check in unless she’s forced. Rudy kept busy with work and her last memory of him was dying in front of her. Grams is gone. Bonnie’s alone and she didn’t want to stay that way. If the other women could want more for themselves. Why shouldn’t Bonnie? She already spent 8 seasons fixing and caring for her friends. What is the difference if they’re related to her?
TVD writers were able to write an entire five-season-spin-off around the Mikaelson’s, give two seasons around the Gemini coven, and give us six seasons of Liz Forbes. All of those characters are white. The storylines and push for the one black family weren’t there. They written Bonnie to be so disconnected from them and it’s bullshit.
So if Bonnie fans in any way are creating more family for Bonnie. Changing up their lore to sound like a family and not women playing servitude then YES I’m for it.

Just thinking that season 4 and 5 would've been great if a stefonnie relationship were ever to start especially the beginning season 5.
They're both "dead" and the people they know and trust don't even think it's strange they haven't been in contact with them for a long time. Caroline especially cause she should have known something is wrong if Bonnie didn't answer her calls for so long.
Ugh there's so many ways they could've gotten together with the buildup that could've been easily written in. But no we had to go through Doppelganger and Traveler bullshit as well as Anchor Bonnie. Which sucked because why would Qetsiyah want her descendant to suffer.

While being forced to withdraw a huge number of soldiers from Gaza due to the losses they've taken and their government's plan to fight Lebanon, the IDF released data claiming to have killed 9,000 Hamas fighters since the war started
Tumblr media
Only one problem with this, a major Israeli newspaper states the opposite
Tumblr media
Meaning the IDF is counting civilians it murdered as enemy combatants. The United States does the same thing with its drones program- it counts male civilians killed by drones as 'terrorists'

Klonnie Weekend: Part One - Domestic Intimacy
Will You Take Thee...?
Mystic Falls, 1001 AD
He peeks at her from the crack between the Juniper trees. Exquisite was the only word that came to mind. The way her skin glistened in the dead of night made him feel as though he was staring straight into the burning light of a harvest moon. Bonnie the Magnificent, or, at least that’s the name he and his brother, Kol had jokingly coined for her.
He had stumbled upon her in Ayana’s garden. Her hair fell to her hips in thick, tightly coiled ringlets and her wet dress clung to her like a second skin. Had he any manners, he’d look away and spare her the ridicule but he was trapped by her beauty; glued to the very spot he stood. His throat dried like the edges of the dead sea and his heart quickened when their eyes met. Rather than shy away from him, her head tilted in curiosity, as if she’d forgotten her unkempt state. His eyes shifted lower where he could see the effects of the night’s air, wrapping her in its chilly grips. Her nipples hardened and so did he but he quickly stamped out that fire as he shrugged out of his furs and stepped into the clearing to meet her.
“Some respite from the night air,” he offered. She smiled and allowed him to wrap her in the warmth he provided, his warmth.
“Thank you, Niklaus.”
“Nik,” he offered, referring to the nickname his sister reserved for him.
“Thank you, Nik,” she corrected. They had known of one another but had never spoken directly. She was Ayana’s eldest child and had left to be betrothed to another, only returning when her lover died in warfare.
“You’re welcome,” he offered. “I take it you’re accustomed to late-night swims?” There was a clearing in the woods that led to a quarry, complete with a waterfall. No one had dared to venture into the quarry, no one but her.
“I am,” she boldly admitted. She shied away from no one and Nik admired that. “It clears my head,” she explained.
“Then perhaps I might accompany you one day, for my head needs plenty clearing.” Though he jest, she could detect the seriousness in his tone.
“Perhaps,” she said quietly, the corners of her lips turning up ever so softly. “Are you asking for my courtship?” Nik’s eyebrows shot up and she giggled.
“Ms. Salvatore I—” She raised her hand to stop him, waving him off playfully.
“Bennett. Bonnie Bennett and I was only teasing,” she assured. He nodded his understanding.
“Bonnie Bennett,” he said and she quite liked the way her name rolled off his incredibly red lips.
“Pleased to meet you,” she said before bowing into a curtsy. “Come, help me gather some wood for a fire.”
And that he did. The two worked in tandem as they formed a cozy fire in the middle of Ayana’s maze of a garden and this became a ritual for them. Night after night, they found themselves meeting at their secret spot, getting comfortable in their tasks. He gathered the wood and well, she twirled around and sang. In truth, he did all the physical work while she entertained him for hours with stories of her travels. He was in awe of her.
One night, after hearing her stomach growl in displeasure, he had an idea. He disappeared for a while and appeared with an armful of items. Ayana’s cauldron, a recently carved serving spoon, and more wood pieces. She watched as he built a stove, using the wood pieces to hoist the cauldron above the pit he’d made. Bonnie smiled and stood to her feet from the log she was perched upon.
“I’ll gather some spices,” she offered before disappearing somewhere within the garden. When she returned, she had a basket (courtesy of Ayana) full of herbs, spices, and vegetables. She watched as Niklaus prepared the veggies, using water from his canister, when he prepared to light the fire, he jumped when flames appeared under the cauldron and smiled up at Bonnie with a knowing smile.
“Every night, you watch me struggle with the tinder…” he began in an accusatory tone.
“That’s because I like when your eyebrows dip and your dimples appear when you stick your tongue out with consternation.” He grins at her feigned innocence before continuing his duties in their makeshift kitchen. It seemed odd for the two of them to be engaged in such activities in the dead of night but it felt right. They didn’t have to answer to anyone about what their intentions with one another were, there was no need to be anything other than themselves.
As Bonnie stirred the contents of the cauldron, Niklaus watched her from behind as she blew on the spoon he’d fashioned and took meager sips to ensure that he’d flavored the stew to her liking. His heart swelled at her thumbs up and he sat upright from where he lay supine with his arms rested beneath his head. Bonnie watched as he searched for whatever he was looking for, his blonde hair curtaining his face as he bent and moved in confusion.
“I suppose a bowl would be necessary,” he mocked lightly. “I’ll be back.”
When he returned, he found her asleep peacefully on his fur overcoat. He’d made a nice pad for them to lay on, the same pad he made every night during their meetups. They’d stare up at the stars and steal glances at one another in the flickers of the fire when they thought the other wasn’t looking. She felt like home, the only home he had ever known.
Asleep, her guard was down and he felt as though he got to see the real her. The one when no one was around, the one she allowed him to partake in, as did he with she. As he scooped some stew into each of their bowls, he delayed waking her, wanting to bask in every second of this moment. Her beauty was eternal, both inside and out. He’d never met a being so pure in who she was. He wanted more from her but it was against standards to pursue a lady in mourning so soon after the death of her husband. Still, he’d wait for her, and within a year’s time, he hoped to declare himself to her.
When she stirred, Nik stooped next to her, wafting the bowl of delicious stew under her nose. The growl of her stomach made her alert and Bonnie sat up straight, ready to devour the food they prepared.
“Thank you,” she mumbled groggily. He smiles at her and her heart leaps.
“You’re most welcome,” he spoke with a tone reserved only for her. She blushes and turns away as she eats her stew, not caring at all about the ‘slurps’.
“You’ve outdone yourself, Viking,” she teased. It was his turn to blush. She reached out to touch his warm cheeks and basked in the feel of him. No matter the time of year, he generated a heat that threatened to engulf her. They had met just as winter was coming to a close and he was as radiant then as he was in the summer sun.
Without thinking, his lips met her palm. Bonnie’s breath caught in her throat but she didn’t pull away. A soft kiss made her shiver and struggle to hold on to the bowl she held.
“I know it’s against tradition, but if you’ll have me…” it sounded eerily close to a proposal but Bonnie couldn’t be sure. Not until his eyes met hers and the electricity in his gaze struck lightning throughout her entire body. With a smile, Bonnie nodded.
“In due time,” she promised. Niklaus wasn’t the burliest of men. When compared to others in his village, he was often overlooked as an eligible bachelor. He didn’t hunt and was labeled as ‘sensitive’ by his own father, but Bonnie saw the real him. He was a provider. He could provide love, lots of it, and shelter if she needed it. Her love didn’t require brute force like some of the women in their village demanded. She’d experience that love and it had left her a widow. She didn’t want that kind of love. The love she wanted had a more gentle approach. The approach that only Niklaus knew how to navigate. Truth be told, he was ‘a bad choice’ for a husband if you went by what society required. But she was always a woman that went against the grain and based on how he carried himself, so was he.
At her promise, Niklaus closed his eyes in relief. To his dismay, tears stung at the corners of his eyes but he was a master at hiding tears. His father had taught him well. His voice was small against her lips but she’d caught them with hers. “Thank you,” he muttered.
Her soft, reassuring kiss was the only answer he needed.

I just love the Stefan earning her forgiveness storyline. Paul is actually putting effort in this and doesn't look dead faced and checked out. This would have been the perfect for them to address all their unresolved issues other than him killing her loser boyfriend and change their relationship. I could have watched a whole season of this. He should have just left town with Bonnie instead of unnecessary dying and marrying Caroline. Sidenote, Stefan looked so miserable at his own wedding, I think that's when he officially lost his will to live.
I'm the biggest advocate for Bonnie and Stefan running away from Mystic Falls together. I feel like they'd have the healthiest romantic relationship. Even in a platonic sense, there was so much potential to explore. It would have been nice to address why Stefan has neglected their friendship so much through the years. He cared about Bonnie but he didn't always act like it.
Paul was over this show. He was not a fan of his character's direction and it shows. He looked bored out of his mind unless his humanity was off. All Stefan wanted was to be human again, just for it to happen and die willingly. It's very tragic. And his brother should have joined him in death.

Prompt: Ripper Stefan takes a liking to Bonnie and gets jealous whenever Damon is with her.
She might have noticed his hot back first but after that Bonnie really hadn't paid attention to Stefan in that way. After all, it becomes pretty clear that he has eyes for Elena and her friend deserves a bit of happiness after everything she has gone through. She and Stefan exist on the outskirts of one another, friends but not really, and they both seem okay with that.
Until a switch flips.
Literally.
Bonnie is stretching her legs to get ready to run the track circle when his shadow slides over her skin. She can already feel the death wafting off of him and braces herself before she looks up to find him smiling at her with a mouth full of teeth. It is unsettling how much he looks like himself, but not.
"Hey, Bonnie," he says and there is something so smooth about his voice that she knits the features of her face together in confusion. "Going for a run?"
"Uh," Bonnie begins, glancing down at the obvious signs that she is. "Yes."
"We'll run together," Stefan announces with an air of finality that she finds herself falling into step with him. He is a machine, capable of moving swiftly yet he ensures that she controls the pace. The moment she speeds up, so does he. "Not trying to get away from me, are you Bonnie?"
"And what if I am?" she shoots back, momentarily forgetting that his new (old) favorite pastime is ripping people into pieces.
"That would hurt my feelings," he tells her, his mouth falling into a mockery of a frown. It doesn't last long --- the next moment he is showing his teeth again.
That does it.
Bonnie pulls to a stop and his quick reflexes allow him to do the same. For a moment they stare one another down and then she asks the obvious question. "What do you want, Stefan?"
He waits a beat and then his eyes travel downward, tracing along her curves. An arm crosses over the other and by the time their eyes meet again, he is smug.
"Oh," she says, the only word she can think of as she tries to process this new turn of events. It sinks in, coming to rest in the pit of her stomach.
Oh.
From that moment on, Stefan doesn't give her much peace. He shows up on her porch, lazily pushing himself back and forth on the swing as she steps out with her backpack tucked against her body. "I'll walk you."
He leans against the fence at cheerleading practice, his gaze following her every move. It is unnerving, not just for her but for everyone else. In fact, he seems to be scaring off any potential competition. He is the only one there, clapping loudly every time she lands a toe touch.
She has a feeling he watches her sleep, although she can't prove that one yet.
She can't take it much longer.
She does something she would normally be loathed to do. She goes to Damon. The moment he opens the door, she is pushing her way past. "We have to do something about your brother."
"Well, hello to you too, Bon Bon," he drawls as he closes the door and follows her into the depths of the boarding house.
She ignores any attempt to bait her, instead getting down to business. "He is hurting people. He is causing so much damage. He is..."
"Sniffing after the town witch," Damon finishes.
Bonnie presses her lips together, annoyed that Damon has gotten to the bottom of her true intentions that quickly. This is not about the innocent people, this is about her. This is about her peace of mind. She doesn't want to be the object of Stefan's twisted form of affection.
She huffs. "He is supposed to love Elena. He is not supposed to even notice me..."
Damon raises both his eyebrows and shifts closer to her. "Really? He is supposed to just ignore a beautiful, powerful creature? I mean, he's stupid but he's not completely clueless."
Bonnie puts a hand up to stop Damon. He walks right into it and as a result she is standing there with her fingers splayed on his chest when Stefan saunters in. He stands there for a moment, watching his brother and his witch. Then he frowns.
Someone is dying tonight because of this moment.
"Hands off, brother," Stefan says evenly.
"She's touching me," Damon points out.
Bonnie jerks her hand away. She can feel the testosterone flowing. "Uh, let's get it clear. I don't want anything to do with either of you," she says, pushing each word out slowly in hopes that it sinks home for at least one of the brothers.
Damon snorts.
Stefan grins.
Bonnie realizes she is in so much trouble.

still on my stefonnie bullshit and i can’t stop thinking about how much they mirror each other.
stefans mom abandoned him and damon only to start a new family with the heretics as her children (stefan went on to date one of them). bonnies mom abandoned her only to adopt jamie (bonnie and jamie dated for a few episodes).
stefans dad was emotionally distant and had high expectations for him (re: being against vampires). bonnies dad was emotionally (and physically) distant and had high expectations her (re: expression arc)
stefan and elena broke up because elena had feelings for someone else. bonnie and jeremy broke up because jeremy had feelings for someone else. (both are victims of emotional cheating and ironically were done dirty by the gilbert siblings).
stefans ripper arc started due to his desire to protect damon and elena. bonnies expression arc started due to her desire to save jeremy. both ended up attacking their loved ones (namely elena), were isolated from the friend group, and were manipulated by the main villain of the season (in stefans case klaus, in bonnies case silas).
stefan spent the summer in between season 4 and season 5 drowning in a safe. bonnie spent the summer in between season 4 and season 5 dead. neithers absence were noticed until months later.
season 5’s storyline was literally started due to their ancestors (qetsiyah and silas) having a long and complicated history together that was so deep that affected the supernatural world as a whole.
they had the same morals, same general outtakes on life, were the two main people making sacrifices for the group, and got the two worst endings of the main tvd characters. you’d think they were written with the intention of being twin flames/soulmates of some sort with the sheer amount of parallels you can find between them. their friends to lovers arc would’ve been one of the best to come out of the TVDU if the racist ass writers weren’t insistent on excluding bonnie from things (from storylines to romantic/platonic dynamics) that she should’ve been apart of.

What do you think were Eleanor and Cyrus's opinions of Dan? Especially when he and Blair were dating?
Oooooh timely ask, because I was just thinking on this for a fic these past couple days!
I think Cyrus loves Dan. Dan does have that energy of like, being able to talk Dad Topics in conversation. And since Cyrus is an entertainment lawyer, with a mixed media artist son, and Dan grew up adjacent to the music industry and the art business, I think they'd have a lot to talk about, and I think Cyrus would appreciate that Dan can keep up. And, remembering how Cyrus witnessed the devastation Blair felt at how chip wiskers withheld affection ("I told Chuck I loved him" conversation my beloved), I think Cyrus is very pleased that Blair has a partner who is so open and unconditional in how he loves Blair.
As for Eleanor, she is...enigmatical. She's not as caught up in the upholding of appearances in the way Cece and Lily are, but there's this steeliness to her that demands perfection, and she doesn't really soften until the end of season 3, and even after that there are ups and downs. But I think having Cyrus as her partner allows her to soften (queue that conversation from after Blair's 20th bday party). Speaking of Blair's 20th birthday party, I don't think Eleanor Waldorf is the type of woman to forget things easily. She remembers the chaos and the low lows that Blair felt before Dan (often as a result of chip) and the contrast between: "whenever he's around I just feel like a weak little girl" & "Dan makes me feel strong and safe" - that had to have stuck in her brain.
Eleanor, more than Cyrus, would probably have had to play catch up to get on board, not because she dislikes Daniel, but because he was known as so many other things to her before: Serena's boyfriend, Jenny's older brother, Lily's stepson, her waiter during a Passover Seder - none of which really brought her daughter and Dan together, so I think she would be struggling to do the math, whereas Cyrus would just be like, "Wonderful! Let's have dinner!"
I do wonder if Eleanor did find out, or ever would, that Dan is the originator of "evil dictator of taste." I think if she did, she would be like, "yeah. he knows her." and, knows her in a way that Cyrus seems to know Eleanor. I think the post-Cyrus Rose Eleanor Waldorf probably has a little more room in her heart for sentimentality, making it easier for Dan to win her over. Though Dan never believes he actually has. They'll be five years into their marriage and Dan will still go to the Roses on holidays like, "I have no idea if your mom likes me or not."

Its annoying when a fans first line of defense against someone not liking their group’s song is ‘But it has such a deep meaning/message’ like fantastic, great, it’s great that they’re using their platform to talk about troubling things and that’s pretty commendable. But that doesn’t mean you can’t like the message without liking the song? Or that a song with a deeper meaning should automatically be liked? If someone doesn’t like it they don’t like it, meaning aside

What’s So Strange About Violet Strange
“I heard her Grandfathers a vampire“
“Don’t you know her mother’s an alien”

That’s what Derek Hall has always heard about Violet Strange’s family, his home schooled neighbour.
