Seeing footage of the aftermath of the flour massacre in Gaza is so painful

"Where is my daughter? Tell her I don't want flour anymore"

Over 100 have been killed. Every single one of them hungry. Every single one of them has someone waiting for them to come back with the bag of flour.

Israel is using starvation as a weapon of war against innocent civilians. Israel ambushes starving Palestinians and shoots them. Israel is not fighting a war to defend itself. This is another episode of Israel's ongoing genocide in Gaza.

I just think that selling different album variations so that people have to buy multiple editions to be able to (legally) listen to all the tracks is a blatant cash/sales grab. but then to only announce/make one available at a time so that people can't even make an informed decision about what they are buying is just taking the piss

#no no I AGREE #color variants are one thing and it can be cool for collectors #but to split tracks that supposedly help tell the story of a record altogether is silly I'm sorry #like you don't want me to have a big collection you want me to buy multiple iterations of one single thing to benefit you #also those tracks will be on streaming but probably not anytime soon... sweeter than fiction still isn't #not to mention the “limited edition!” thing that's never true cause they always come back and are on every record store #love her very much will never stop loving her but I will also admit when something bothers me

People in Gaza have been saying this would happen since the very start, as soon as the occupation started corralling everyone into the southern part of the strip they said this would happen. We watched it happen as the “safe” zones grew smaller and smaller and every time Rafah was targeted by air strikes even before this. And no one who could actually stop this lifted a finger. It’s been 129 days.

to think just a few years ago taylor would hide and isolate herself in the face of speculation and criticism, and now she finally feels confident enough to show up, to express her emotions, and to pour her heart out on her records instead of shrinking herself to cater to everyone and to appear "perfect". sometimes I worry she might be working and tiring herself too much but, in a way, I think making multiple records and releasing them whenever she wants is her way of dealing with her emotions in a healthy way. people will say she's overexposed, but I think she's just simply living her best life right now, in front of our own eyes. I looooove that for her!!! 🤍

Very sad to hear Motaz apologize for choosing safety and evacuating as if he owes the world anything.
