This is your reminder that my account was created to share my "alternative" personal views. I will take little to no criticism, I will not change based off of what the majority tells me to, even if it's already a minority. I will always honor myself and what I believe in. This account is to talk about the things that normally wouldn't be socially acceptable to.
I'm getting attacked for my last post, but honestly idc lol. (Rant kinda)
if you wanna be a safe space for creeps, baits, and overall people who mock our community and diminish our struggles so they can use a label they don't understand, go ahead, but not everyone wants to be associated with that. Just proves what kind of person you are, someone who doesn't understand us at all.
Paralleling me to transmeds is crazy. Just because transgenderism and other transids are similar, doesn't mean they're not completely different in many other ways. Gender is a subjective thing. You can't be hypothetically disabled.
Things such as gender and race ARE social constructs, so you can interpret your identity with them as you please. It's not real, after all. Things such as transabled, however, are based off of real things that people struggle with daily. I'm not saying it's wrong to transition to it, but it's not something to be taken lightly. There's a very thin line between minimizing disabled peoples experiences and mocking them vs. actual transabled people who know what they're talking about, and I'm sick of people mixing them up and referring to them both as the same.
Disabilities are a VERY real thing. You can't just transition to it for the labels and an inner feeling that doesn't even match the transition like you can gender and race. There's literally no way to host an identity like that WITHOUT feeling at least a little dysphoria and wanting to transition, even if you can't. I don't care how much you ostracize me for this, we need to stop being a safe space for bad people. This is why the respectful radqueers still get judged so heavily.
Transharmed is one thing, it's your body so it's your choice as long as you know what you're talking about, doing, and respecting people who were born with it, but transharmful? I genuinely don't get it. Like transna/zi and transgro/omer? Do people seriously think these identities are okay? Identifying with ra/cism and eu/geni/cs and overall harming others goes COMPLETELY against the original rq ideology.
Call me a fake radqueer, call me a transmed, call me an exclusionist, but I will never ever support people who are harming anyone intentionally.
Transitioning to anything isn't something to be taken lightly. It's not a joke, it's not something fun, it's not aesthetic. It's a grueling, painful experience that, if any of us had the option to not have to go through it, we wouldn't. It hurts. So I wish people would stop pretending like our suffering is just something they can do for a week for fun.
We're a community that was built off of our unusual dysphoria and being ostracized out of our own communities. Please don't continue the cycle by ostracizing people who have their own views.
Anyway, because of all of this drama, and a lot of my personal ideologies and morals not fitting the standard radqueer ones, does anyone know of any similar labels? Should I make my own?

the thing wrong with the radqueer community, as a semi-active member.
*THIS IS ENTIRELY MEANT TO BE RESPECTFUL AND JUST TALKING ABOUT MY THOUGHTS, PLEASE DON'T TAKE IT PERSONALLY
The thing that I believe is harming the rq community and its reputation, as well as driving away a lot of newer members, and tearing apart the community of the veteran members, is the controversy over what is and isn't a transid, a transid vs a fantasy/desire.
More specifically, I find it kind of strange how people take everything they want and put the trans- prefix on it, make it a flag, and suddenly it's valid. Not to say all identities aren't valid and subjective, but I just feel like a lot of people don't understand what it means to be transid.
Like, for example, transst4lked. Do you feel dysphoria over not being st4lked? Do you feel genuine euphoria and like you're truly yourself when you're st4lked? Or is it just something you want to happen? Are you ACTUALLY transitioning to it in any way? Is it really a transid if there is no trans- in the first place? Have you felt this way for a long time, even throughout childhood, or did you just read one Colleen Hoover book and immediately run to Tumblr to tarnish the rq community?
This is also a part of the controversy surrounding transharmed identities. There's no real way to tell if someone ACTUALLY has that illness or trauma or whatever intertwined with their identity, and they truly understand the struggles of the people who naturally have it, and if they can actually see themselves with it and happier with it in the future, or if they're just romanticizing, faking it, and/or just a kid who doesn't know what it's like to feel the need to transition in any way and forgets about it in a month.
This is not to say all transid or transharmed people are like this, I'm transid myself, I'm just saying it's a big problem nobody talks about because the rq community is supposed to be supportive of everyone, so it's filled with silence when it comes to things like this, nobody wants to be the one to judge.
I just feel like a lot of people don't understand the concept of a transid, to transition to something else, to feel as though you are something else inside and should've been born as that and you'd feel so much more fulfilled the more you could live your life like that, whether it be gender, race, age, etc. I really don't want people going around misusing our labels to feel special then going and abandoning it in a month or two.
Now, as I say myself, there's always room to learn about things you don't understand. You shouldn't go and directly tell people they're invalid without at least trying to have a look on the inside. So, if anyone finds this sort of thing applies to you, feel free to help me understand in the comments. But if you just feel attacked, then you're proving my point.
So, there's my 4 am rant on why I believe trendhoppers are tearing apart the radqueer community.

The majority of anti-radqueers have only ever observed or heard about the radqueer community. Why would you ever trust someone who has only ever seen something from the outside to know what it is like on the inside? Please listen to the people who are actually in the community not people who clearly have no idea what they are talking about.

What is the difference between a trans racial and a RCTA? Bc I am a RCTA Korean. I'm rlly confused and need help figuring out my identities
They're basically the same thing, just two different communities!
RCTA is typically on Tiktok, and ethnicity changes, especially East Asians. It's often minors. Unfortunately though, the community is full of bait.
Transracials don't have a specific platform, but I see the label used the most on Reddit probably? It's more often transitions like black to white or white to black, it has a lot less baits, and it's mostly adults. However, the term itself is a bit problematic, as it already has a meaning.
Both are people changing their races and/or ethnicities, and there are some overlaps between the two, as well as other communities transitioning race, such as the diarace community here on Tumblr. We all have the same identity, it just depends on how and where you prefer to express it! Hope this helps :))

“We are entitled to a PoC character in this movie!”
“We are entitled to a female character in this video game!”
“We are entitled to a queer character on this TV show!”
No, you are entitled to not indulge in any form of entertainment that offends you. You are entitled to go to college and get an animation degree and start making your own movies about whatever the fuck you want. You are entitled to get a programming degree and make video games that suite you. BUT YOU ARE NOT ENTITLED TO TELL OTHER PEOPLE HOW TO MAKE THEIR ART.

If you ever think the radqueer community is wrong by despising "survivors of the radqueer community", just think of Oli London.
He labeled himself as queer and was transrace. Now he hates queer people and trace people, says they're all the same mob of horribleness, and thrashes trans people because he's now christian and doesn't identify with those "beliefs".
Do you really think he was right? If yes, you're just a bigot, congratulations, but if not, where do you draw the line? At hating "actual queer people"? At hating "an actual minority"? Because I've never seen a non-queer radqueer. I've never seen a radqueer who's never been oppressed in any way. And with the amount of hate we've gotten, you can bet (and I know it's true) that a lot of antis are bigoted. I've seen antis be so straight up ableist while "fighting against ableism", I've seen them call radqueers the r slur and say horrible shit. And you can't say that's not a majority, I've never seen an anti who isn't conservative-coded and doesn't spew bigoted bullshit.
Because the nature of antis is segregation between binaries that don't exist as a binary. Disabled vs abled is not a binary, yet I've seen antis say that people can never become disabled, which is just stupid. As a white latino, POC vs white is not a binary I fall into, yet they really want to separate those and say people can never ever identify as something other than what they're born and perceived as.
They want to separate them because it's less confusing and less problematic. They want to maintain the status quo of never letting minorities become privileged as an identity (e.g. transwhiteness and nullabledness), and of never letting privileged people identify with minorities. Privilege or minority status will likely never leave us and we're not saying it will, but muddying the waters will never be something less than good. Because that only empowers.
In my humble opinion, saying disability and other minority status is desirable and inherently neutral or good, is not harmful. Because the other option is saying disability and other minority status is inherently undesirable regardless of how the disabled person or minority feels about it.
Anyway. I have said this multiple times, but having a distinct line between privilege status and minority status that no one can cross is not a good thing and will never be.

is it true sunscreen can help lighten your skin? I mean I already have VERY VERY pale skin but summer is coming in a few months and I actually tan quite a bit (I actually still have some tan lines left even though I don't really live in a sunny place) and I was already thinking of using sunscreen on my face just because it's good for your skin, but will it also help prevent unnecessary tanning in the summer and just overall make me paler but in a healthy looking way rather than looking like a vampiric olive like I do now?

Reminder:
Not all radqueers are the same
Not all radqueers are a para
Not all radqueers are a transid
Not all radqueers are pro contact
Not all radqueers are anti contact
Not all radqueers are complex contact
Not all radqueers understand all transids
Not all radqueers are or aren't against paras getting therapy
Not all radqueers do or don't support transharmed/transharmful identities
Not all radqueers are or aren't pro/com/darkshippers
Not all radqueers do or don't support consang
Not all radqueers are or aren't radinclus/support mismatched labels
Not all radqueers share every belief. It's an umbrella term, and people are entitled to their own opinions. All it takes to be radqueer is the belief that people should be themselves, love is love, no identity is harmful, and overall it's just against the beliefs society has instilled in us. But that doesn't mean people can't have different views, it just means you should respect both more popular and more personal views and try to understand the things you don't, and if it makes you uncomfortable just don't interact with it. Overall it's just an anti-harassment movement. We are all different people, and that's okay.

Contact discourse is destroying the rq community and making it harder to call out actual predators without being ostracized yourself

It’s always “listen to oppressed people about their oppression” until that oppressed person is a trans man. Then he’s just a man complaining and speaking over real oppressed people.

basing your morality strictly on whether or not something causes actual harm leads you to radically socially unacceptable places. which to be clear. is good.
