Kwazii is really into nature and positive energies and all things like that. He has so many crystals ( Peso will be like 'Ok you need this medicine ' and then Kwazii pops out of nowhere and is like 'you also need this crystal') and he loves Portals by Melanie Martinez.

I headcanon that in a modern au Alexander and George realised that the other one was neurodivergent because George was worrying about something and flapped his hands without thinking and then Alexander was like 'I do that too! :D
(They hadn't told each other previously because both had thought that the other one would think they were weird.)

Alex has a cat allergy but loves them and this causes Problems
Like, Alex and George are visiting Harold in Cambridge for the hols, and Alex sees a cat and goes to pet it.
George is all "Alex, don't do that!" and Harold thinks George is simply worried about being late and says it's ok, they don't need to hurry. George says "I'm not worried about being late! He's allergic"
Meanwhile Alex is wheezing and his eyes are streaming while he offers the cat a bit of cheese out his sandwich

Shellington needs to read A Kind Of Spark. It's autism representation and shark facts in one book. He'd be in his element.
I also think that Kwazii would like Keedie.

Ways I think the Deepdean girls would accessorise their uniform (ignoring the fact that Deepdean would be really strict blah blah blah)
Also before I begin I would like to present a group hc that ALL of them wear little trans pin badges in support of Daisy like in Derry Girls they all wear gay pin badges for Claire. Half of the girls I hc as sapphic in some way but Daisy is the only trans one, so they show their support especially for her.
Daisy:
- doc martens with lesbian flag shoelaces ofc ofc
- fishnet tights except they're so ripped they barely even count as fishnets
- they're just bits of strings atp
- wears those school shorts and everyone expects them to look stupid as but they actually work really well?
- occasionally wears her PE skort as part of the everyday uniform
- Daisy is a BIG fan of the skort
- sews a magnifying glass attached to a bit of string into her blazer pocket
Hazel:
- teddy bear coat that she wears every season bar summer
- everyone's all 'oh summer is over Hazel's got her fluffy jacket on again'
- she wears these cute mary jane flats that Daisy says are 'terribly impractical'
- (Rose is always stealing them. Hazel is always immensely displeased when it's the end of August and she cannot find them for the new school year)
- wears those tartan scarves all through winter. And autumn. She gets cold easily
- not technically school uniform but on the weekends she'll just wear slippers everywhere, including dinner
Lavinia:
- leather jacket!!!
- doc martens also (she likes that she matches with Daisy)
- wears trousers, but her parents don't know and so she steals her brothers'
- they are too Long and she's a short butch so she cuffs them at the bottom
- (it looks really cool)
- has a vintage Deepdean tennis fleece from her mother
- uses her school tie as a belt. Teachers are furious but they can't doing anything about it as technically it IS in 'a suitable windsor knot'
Kitty:
- skirt rollerupper fr fr
- wears cute little hairclips and brooches (think it's canon she wants to wear those from Jolly Foul Play?)
- ties her tie in a bow
- never wears her blazer even in the midst of winter because it 'simply does not go with my jewellery 😤😤😤'
- wears lots of charm bracelets that she shares interchangeably with Beanie
- highest heels she can get away ofc (she's ALMOST as tall as Daisy in them)
Beanie:
- fluffy socks and rainbow tights!!!
- also has her tie in a bow to match Kitty
- sews colourful buttons onto her blazer (they're misshapen ones that didn't make the cut onto the production line from her dad's button factory)
- wears cute ribbons in her hair (her and Kitty spend ages in the Deepdean haberdashery)
- wears the most colourful cute cardigans she can get away with
- wears beanies. Obviously

I headcanon that George is really protective of all his friends but will never admit it ( evidence is this bit of The Hound of Weston School which is so cute!!). He would always notice if Hazel was nearing a shutdown but never notices when he is. He fusses about Alexander during the cross country races because of his asthma. If anyone is ill then they are not allowed to do anything until they are completely better ( he, of course, is back to work as soon as he can stand up without fainting). He makes Daisy wear scarves in winter. He is really good at giving advice but not very good at taking it. He never notices is he's getting overwhelmed but always notices if someone else is. He always lets Daisy borrow his noise cancelling headphones if she forgets hers.
In conclusion, while Hazel is a mum friend, George is even more so but will never admit it.

I love how in the Kilimanjaro Climb Kwazii getting altitude sickness shows my ADHD experience of being ill. I can't move and yet I can't sit still. I'm going to be sick but I keep running about.

Kwazii listens to Melanie Martinez.
He has to make sure that Peso and the Vegimals are out of earshot for the swears. He has also kind of got Calico Jack into it.

I headcanon that it's her comfort object and she often has it in her bag and if she forgets it George takes it in his bag. Just in case. I also headcanon that George's unsolved mysteries book is kind of his comfort object ( also contains information on his special interest).
I canNOT remember which book it was, but based on one (1) line in MMU where it says something like 'Lavinia had a doll hidden at the bottom of her tuckbox' I've simply come to the conclusion and headcannon that Lavinia collects dolls, those vintage-y porcelain ones <3
No evidence except I feel it in my heart

Imagining George and Alexander watching the Doctor Who episode 'Planet of the Ood' and George is ranting about slavery and oppression and making comparisons to the British Empire. Alexander is bawling his eyes out.
I imagine Alexander to love Doctor Who yet end up crying pretty much every episode.
( 'George do you want to watch Doctor Who? Why are you bringing a whole box of tissues?...)

YES @deepdeanvsweston the countess would like the black and white versions and they would debate the best doctor( I feel like the countess would like Jon Pertwee and William Hartnell and Alexander would like Patrick Troughton).
I headcanon that in a modern au Alexander lives with the countess and now I just keep thinking about that. Alexander trying to get her to watch Doctor Who and listen to newer music and being met with utter disgust. The countess complaining that she's ' an old infirm woman' and for that reason Alexander has to go and get stuff for her. Alexander listening to her political rants everytime the news is on and thinking that this really isn't so different to being with George. Them watching old murder mysteries together because it's the only shows they agree on.
It's criminal that she's only in one book really, she's such a character.

Ever such a slight vent but honestly have such a weird disconnect between the Murder Most Unladylike series (my special/focused interest) and The Ministry Of Unladylike Activity series (a book series I enjoy but isn't a special interest)
They're both set in the same universe, but it feels different. My excitement goes up 📈 when I read about characters from the original series, but then sort of flatlines the moment it's back to MayEricNuala plot which leads to weird rollercoaster emotions on a whole because I'm going from SPECIAL INTEREST MODE to just reading a book and then back through the cycle again ugh. And then it gets too much and I begin to actively not like the book,,,
Don't get me wrong I do like the book!!! But yeah reading TMUA to MMU is def a different experience for me

Aleks lore (headcannoned) because the discord was chatting about it and I wanted to make my own post :)
Aleks
- his father's an American business man (Alexander Arcady) and his mother is a Russian Hollywood actress (Yelizaveta Demidovsky)
- they got divorced when Aleks was 8 because Alexander was having an affair and as 2 well known society members, it was of course splashed everywhere on every newspaper
- flashing lights make Aleks cry because they remind him of the paps, outside his house, outside his school, everywhere
- also smashing glass because uhhh well. A lot of them were thrown about during the divorce
- Aleksandr is named after his father, sort of, as he's the eldest son (the Countess fought hard for Russian names)
- he has a twin brother who I can't decide on a name for > either Fyodor (Americanised: Theodore) or Nikolai (Americanised: Nicholas)
- when the divorce happened, his father chose his brother over Aleks and they both stayed in Boston, because he was more business orientated and could take the business over better than Aleks could
- there's weird tension between him and his brother because of this, but they love and miss each other terribly
- His mother wanted his brother too, he's charming and handsome and witty, and she doesn't really like Aleks because he's awkward and looks too much like his father but she's never in the house to see him though, so it doesn't really matter
- Aleks is Painfully Aware he's the second choice :(
- Aleks and his mum move to Hollywood, LA, but when she sends him away to boarding school, he stays with his American grandmother in England, who moved there during WW1
- the thing with Aleks' parents is that his father 'cares' too much > dictating what his career should be and who he should marry and what he should and shouldn't be doing. His mother doesn't care at all
- both his parents don't really believe in physical affection so he's touch starved and that's why he loves hugs so much

Murder Most Unladylike fandom thank you so much. Without you I would never have found Derry Girls. ( Also I now imagine half the insults people say to James being Daisy saying to Alexander).

Here's my favourite 10 Daisy moments for her birthday:
1. In AFT when her and Bertie are DELIGHTED that they are trapped in a house with a dead body.
2. In FCM when she's like 'Ew. A boy" and tells Alexander he can't be a permanent member of the Detective Society.
3. In JFP when Hazel tricks her into admitting that it's a murder in front of Kitty, Beanie and Lavinia and she's like ,' Dammit Hazel! I taught you to do that!'
4. In MAM when Bertie says " I didn't know he was your George ' and she's like ' He's not MY George. Ew.'
5. Again MAM when she says ' Even Bertie's caught it' like love is a virus.
6. In DSS when Daniel Miller says she can't be police because she's a girl and she says that Hatshepsut was only a girl when she became pharaoh. He says 'I expect people complained about her too' and Daisy says 'I expect she chopped off their heads'.
7. In DSS when George says ' I think we like each other enough to tell each other when we're going wrong' and Daisy just says 'I don't like you '
8. In The Drowned Pearl when her and George are arguing over who's in charge.
9. In MAM when her and George are talking about unsolved cases together (because they all talk about their special interests together even though they've only just met and !!!!!!)
10. In The Case of the Missing Treasure when she's just pretending that she doesn't know Alexander.
