also the bosses of netflix: cancel yet another show with a strong fanbase.

such a disappointing outcome. it had a strong completion rate and decent viewing hours, so it seems netflix has ridiculously high margins for renewal. not to mention ealing studios was semi teasing a season 2 in their instagram comments.

but we've seen it happens with anne with an e, where people petitioned so hard we got another season or maybe even enough to finish the other three books so maybe all hope isn't lost. Stroud and complete fiction might also move to another platform like amazon.
