Now that I've ranted on the phone to my fam a bit, I'll just say this. I call utter bullshit here. I refuse to believe no other streamer wanted to make a deal - David implied as much when he said there were many complimentary meetings. This was Zaslav refusing to sell for anything but an insane price tag just like Coyote vs Acme. He knows it would be a hit anywhere else that was willing to fund and market it. And he'd rather sink our ship and take himself down with it than let it flourish and make his company look bad (as if it can look worse at this point).

So you know what? Fuck all this. This is the hill I'll die on. David may have waved the white flag but I won't. We were prepared for a marathon, not a sprint, and two months is not nearly enough for me to throw in the towel. I want to see WBD implode. I won't rest until we get something, anything - a movie, a graphic novel, a Samba's cell phone basement version of s3, I don't care. If streaming is dying, let us put that final nail in its coffin for what it did to us and so many others who have asked for so little and been spat at.

Make some fucking noise about this. It's not over until we say it's over. I love and respect David dearly, but I have a lot of fight left in me.

Y'know how, when you have a cat who really loves you, they can be dead asleep in the same room as you but when you get up to go do anything they'll follow you? That's gonna be Ed.

Stede will have to plan errands around it. Because Ed will be sleeping so well, but the instant Stede stands up to go do anything, he's gonna be getting up and following him. Just in case Stede needs help. And often it's not really all that helpful, because Ed will still be very sleepy, so he'll just be following him, blinking blearily, and when Stede stands still he'll just tuck into his side and bury his face in his neck. Hi all!

I've made way too many OFMD stickers when experimenting. Like, I've got 150+ stickers right now. Guys, I can't use 150 stickers. I don't have enough sticker-applicable surfaces.

Because I don't really have IRL friends I could give them to, and I'm not going to any conventions where I could just give them away, I'm planning to sell them off for dirt cheap (most for 0.50€ / $0.55 a piece, plus shipping) on my newly made Kofi. I'll probably put them up before the weekend. If any of them sell, that'll be a great indication to me that it's something I should continue working on! 🍒

i also posted these to Twitter because i like to pretend people look at my tweets sometimes 😅 long story short, i am still under the delusion that I'm capable of creating my own stickers.

I'm actually doing quite alright on the lineart front (reworking the same three pieces i made for my coloring book project again and again), but coloring is very difficult. when i finally manage to get some colors to look good on screen, they look like crap on test prints. i don't know if it's normal or if maybe i should buy better printer ink instead of cheap replacements. although, I'm mostly making these for myself so I don't know if it's worth the investment...

I just like the idea of stickers... I'm not a good artist, as these doodles clearly show, but between doing this and scrolling through my feed, I'd rather be productive. Even if it's only for me.

there's a whole story in my head of how merman!Stede and kraken!Ed meet, fall in love and strike a bargain with a sea witch to be together against all odds... but it's probably not gonna be anything more than a set of home-made stickers and a single coloring page I'll likely never color.

i don't know, it's probably dumb, but I'm really going somewhere with this OFMD coloring book project! i have a LOT to fix, and learn, and improve before anything comes out of it, but it's been a fun experience

so in January, @finngualart made this awesome lineart and shared it with the fandom as a coloring challenge. the deadline was end of January 🤣 I really wanted to finish it in time, but I was off my meds and had too hard of a time focusing on anything. so even though the challenge is long over, I still decided to share my final result now that I finished.

I learned so much from this! I'm mostly new to colors, coloring pencils and all that, but this challenge allowed me to try different things. I would do a lot of it differently now that I know, but still I'm proud of this end result.
