Donnie was able to do the Jupiter Jim nerve pinch reverse technique successfully on his first try after only reading the technique's instructions once before actually immediately attempting it which goes to show just how quickly the Turtles are able to pick up & learn new techniques.

Something I love about Rise Leo is that the traits he has throughout the show are still primarily Leonardo traits, they just present themselves differently due to Rise Leo not being the oldest/ not growing up with the same structure that other Leo’s have due to not growing up with the same style of training.

One example is that of lot of people think that Rise Leo is different than other iterations of Leonardo, since Rise Leo doesn’t display the same love of training that other Leo’s do but I think all Leo’s have the same love of learning something & being able to use what they’ve just learned,

Rise Leo: WWLJD! What Would Lou Jitsu Do!

In Rise, Leo shows excitement whenever he learns something new or when he realises something he’s learned can be used in whatever situation he’s in & it’s the same type of excitement that other versions of Leo show when they figure out how to pull off a new technique that they’ve just learned.

Most Leo’s exemplify that love of learning with new ninja techniques while Rise Leo didn’t get the same opportunity to have the same type ninja training growing up to throw himself into but he still shows the same excitement that other Leo’s do when he learns something new or figures something out.

hello! Your art is wonderful, and I was wondering if you could do a tutorial on how to draw RoTMNT characters if it’s not too much trouble

Mikey:

facial expression example: winky wink

[difficulty: easy] although his cheek can be a bit difficult to get right.

Leo:

facial expression example: smile :)

[difficulty: medium] His weirdly-shaped head can be challenging, but once you know where to put his corners and how long the lines should be, you’re good to go! Also I forgot his red markings LOL

Donnie:

facial expression example: disinterest

[difficulty: medium] But fun to draw! He’s got tons of accessories compared to his brothers.

Raph:

facial expression example: angy >:C

[difficulty: easy] although his body would be a medium difficulty for me personally. His head shape is a bit simillar to Leo, just stretched out in a way. Sometimes his head doesn’t have a corner at all, and more like Donnie’s.

I don’t have the energy to draw their bodies for now, but I can give you some useful references! (note: only the first drawing is made by me, everything else I found through google)
