NaKniCroMo Day 9 Crafts I’ve only tried one

I have ADHD so I kinda cycle through crafts and so far the only thing I haven’t gone back to is cross stitch.

I just recently got back into using polymer clay and making jewelry (to make my own stitch marker) after almost 10 years of not doing it.

I also have a resin kit and depending on how I feel about it I might only do that once.

Day 8 Favorite yarn

I don’t think I have a favorite yarn per say. I definitely used to. When I first started I was in love with a yarn called bohemian that had a similar texture to chenille but was all rustic earthy colors. And I was in love with Coboo a few years back when I first started making my summer tops but now I’m all about indie dyers. This might be in part because I mentioned wanting these pretty yarns and my partner helped work our budget so I can get the super fancy yarn a few times a year.

NaKniCroMo catch up

Since I’m always busy on the days I don’t work here’s my catch up day.

Starting with goals: I was gifted a knitting machine and one of my goals is to improve using it. I made a couple sample pieces that didn’t unravel but I want to make something actually useful

I spent most of Sunday reading so I guess that was my self care.

Lastly my craft of choice is usually knitting, but I do have a few super simple crochet things I’m working on too. Since I design knitting patterns there is more playing with ideas, writing things down and doing math. With crochet I just have a basket I’m making by the front door that a do a few stitches on while I wait for the school bus.
