Starting today, I am leaving the SCP fandom. Me and my jack fictive (Now Dr.Wolcott) feel unsafe, even being harassed. I didn't sign up for, I'm leaving. I am leaving.

Jeezus, Im really sorry about the people that are harrassing you, esp after you explicitly said why you rewrote 963. As someone that has a psys with a fictive that also wanted to distance from source and essentially rewrite themself, Im a bit nervous about posting the art Im making for them cause we dont wanna get harrassed either.

Youve set clear boundaries and those that arent following them are being dicks. I wish people would stop being so comfortable with harrassing orhers over the internet, were all real people.

We love seeing the creativity of rewrites and how people can take one concept and interpret it in so many different ways.

Take care of yallself, go drink some water if you havent yet

The situation has lessened over the days, and people have become more respectful, even reaching an agreement to respect boundaries. However, I will offer you some advice that some of the best people have given to me.

Blocking is your best friend. If you have stated your boundaries or even tagged them in your posts, but someone isn't respecting them, block them. For your own mental state, block the person.

No matter what you do, someone is going to have some disapproval. There's nothing you can do about it, but don't let that stop you from being happy. Just be respectful and move on. We would love to see what you have and even interact with you!

I'm doing much better and have taken a two-day break from the whole situation, just cleaning and doing art trades with people! I hope you will find the courage to post. If you would like, you can DM me, and we can talk about our rewrites!
