Oh, so you’re going to start “meditating”?? You’re planning on getting into “mindfulness”?? Want to be “one with yourself” in the New Year? I’ve got three words for you: Let It Bleed. Stones album from ’69. Ever heard of it? That’ll purify your black heart. Call me when you’ve achieved Zen.

Endometriosis: Helpful Vitamins & Mineral Supplements
VITAMIN & MINERAL SUPPLEMENTS These supplements listed below are very helpful with a disease known as Endometriosis. They help reduce pain, symptoms, and  help the body fight.
Magnesium - A mineral and is believed to ease cramping with menstruation. It also assist with maintaining water levels in the gut and can help with the problem. Take small amounts! Magnesium Citrate is a liquid form.
Zinc - Essential for enzyme activity, helping cells to reproduce which will help with healing. Zinc is also reported to boost the immune system and helping to create an emotional sense of well-being
Calcium - Levels of calcium in menstruating women decrease 10 to 14 days before the onset of menstruation. Deficiency may lead to muscle cramps, headache or pelvic pain.
Iron - Women with Endometriosis tend to have very heavy periods which can lead to an iron deficiency. This can lead to anemia which is characterized by extreme fatigue and weakness. Stop taking iron pills if constipated or dealing with other colon issues!
B vitamins - Important for the breakdown of proteins, carbohydrates and fats in the body. B vitamins are reported to improve the emotional symptoms of Endometriosis, and have proved helpful in dealing with PMT
Vitamin C - Helps to boost the immune system and help provide resistance to disease. It is also used in the body to build and maintain collagen within the body.
Vitamin A - Another immune system booster

Travel Tuesday: Barone Ricasoli (photo) is Italy’s oldest wine estate—900 years and counting—and the one that essentially invented Chianti wine as we know it: The “Iron Baron” Bettino Ricasoli proposed it as a Sangiovese-based wine back in 1872. The Ricasoli family’s imposing Brolio castle opens its gates these days for a variety of experiences, from drop-in tastings at the wine shop to elaborate tours and gourmet dinners. There is also a lovely and private house on the estate for two-night minimum stays.
Here, more of the best wineries to visit in Tuscany.
