Me? I don't buy that for a second.

As a very talented and dedicated liaison of packages across the galaxy, I am of the firm and unyielding belief that we are the unsung heroes of the galaxy. Come asteroid clusters or violent alien attacks, we make sure your packages get shipped right to your door (or your money back, guaranteed!) and that, my friend, is the mark of a true hero...

Is my boss still listening? No? Good.

Listen to me, this job is hell. It's all guts and absolutely no glory to be spoken of. If you want to be kicked around, spit on and degraded in ways so specific and so hurtful, then run, don't walk, to become a delivery boy! Things will try to eat you, kill you, and scam you out of your life savings. The Newton Galaxy is where dreams go to die.

For a guy like me, I never expected anything to ever change. Then, I met Orion.

CHARACTERS

rhys starr—24, delivery boy. special skill: slacking off, and still getting paid. rhys is a man who contains multitudes of less than savory traits and made up medical issues that keep him from doing his job.

orion storm—25, pirate, con-woman, underground fighter, etc. fun fact: she doesn't actually know how to fly a ship but she's too embarrassed to tell anybody. orion is a woman who is initially scary, but those who really know her would call her terrifying.

kia—19, pirate. kia is orion's big little sister. she's a mean, like really mean, trigger happy machine with a love for fast cars and adventure.

boone—36, pirate. boone enjoys tactical planning and wearing a mask because he think it makes him look cool. his motivations for most things are driven by the desire to look cool.

maverick—50, pirate. maverick is like a parent to orion. they're a liar and a cheat who would sell his soul in a second if given the chance.

hi! my name is eddie and i am just a guy with a laptop. i enjoy anything paranormal, sci-fi, and/or urban fantasy (wink, wink if you write any of those things) im looking for a space to connect with my fellow writers, and share some of my own stuff!

i am currently only working on one project:

HOW TO SURVIVE THE WASTELAND: A DELIVERY BOY'S TIPS AND TRICKS (this is a mouthful, and i usually just call it how to survive the wasteland)

It's a story that follows Rhys, a full-time slacker and delivery boy who accidentally stumbles into a hunt for long lost treasure. In tow is a terrifying woman and her lovely crew of space pirates not to mention the cutest little robot in the whole darn galaxy!

it's essentially a comedic science-fiction action-adventure (also a mouthful, i know!)
