i understand needing community and going to the people you feel are your community for support in extremely troubling times! hell, i even understand forgetting to censor something in times of great stress!!

i don’t understand being hateful and harmful with words after asking politely to censor something that not everyone wants to be apart of.

gun violence is extremely triggering for so many people, myself included. not everyone needs to be triggered at “8 in the morning” !!!! people will still be supportive if you add a trigger warning, it just gives those of us who can’t participate in the support a way out, so as to not be triggered.

you are the most supportive and inclusive person i’ve met through tumblr & this fandom. i’m so sorry not everyone sees that and is now attacking you for standing up for your own server.

Thank you so much! I do appreciate your support and understanding and genuinely only want to spread kindness and openness, while understanding the needs and expectations of my community as we grow together. It is important to discuss hard topics, but we should stay considerate of others within our community, especially on public/group settings.💜

I wish people would realize that just because they aren't triggerd dosnt mean somebody else can't be. It's so incredibly easy to just ad a tw and respect everyone. You don't know if someone survived a school shooting and has ptsd from that but they also need a community like you? Dont you think they would feel unsafe? Yes reality is reality but communitys like this should be Safe for EVERYONE. you can't play the you kicked me out of a community card when you simply just weren't respecting the community 🤷‍♀️literally none of this makes sense if it means that much to you just repost it with a tw?? They were doing their job.

That’s all I meant from this. It wasn’t personal. You said it very well. All I did was delete the original comment from the discord thread after an hour and a half of no edit being made to amend it. No penalties were made, and nothing else occurred. They could have just reposted their first comment with a TW and all would have been fine. I have no problem with difficult subjects being discussed on my server, but I do ask that they be done so in a way that is respectful for the entire community. I would never take someone’s voice away, and dramatizing the situation to say that I was is just dishonest.

Considering you posted on MY server, knowing very well the rules, I’m not sorry for asking you to do the courtesy of following them. You are held to the same standard as anyone else on that server. Violence, including gun violence can be extremely triggering to many, and I will not apologize for asking you nicely to add a trigger warning to your post. I gave you almost two hours to make that change, and when you didn't, I decided to delete your first comment, but left the rest of the thread, which included a comment from myself and one other user.

You can continue to talk shit as you please, but keep in mind, you posted that on a platform that isn’t yours, that has rules that were stated from the very beginning. All I asked was that you be kind enough and mindful enough to consider others while you participate in my server. It is my job to moderate an entire server, and that includes protecting others from something that you personally may or may not be triggered by. I will not apologize for doing my job.

You’re joking right? How insensitive can some people be? I understand it’s not nice to read about but it’s real life unfortunately. People should know about what is happening so those (if any) did lose their lives don’t get forgotten about, i mean i told my mum about it as soon as i read what you put and my mum legit asked me to keep her updated if you put anything else about it.
