Hannah -  Hannah was found dead in the woods of her hometown in Georgia soon after these Tweets. Hannah spoke frequently to her friends about an alleged stalker. Police claim she suffered a “violent death” and it was at the hands of someone she knew. Her murderer has yet to be found. 

Jaylen Fryberg - Opened fire in the school cafeteria, wounding at least 4 students and killing 1, before turning the gun on himself. Shooting was suspected to be motivated by a failed romance.

Rose Mayr  - Mayr and her friend, Elizabeth Nass, were killed moments after this Tweet when a train derailed, crushing them under tons of coal. 

Colleen Burns - Burns died after tumbling from this exact cliff face moments after this photo was taken.

Michelle Rowling - Rowling made this post after finding out her ex-boyfriend, Montrell Cooper, was released from jail. Cooper stabbed her to death moments after the posting.

Matthew DeRemer - DeRemer was killed after a drunk driver collided with his motorbike just hours after writing this post. 

Montrell Jackson - Jackson was killed 2 weeks later in what was dubbed, the ‘2016 shooting of Baton Rouge police officers’ by Gavin Long.

Reeva Steenkamp - Steenkamp was shot dead that night by boyfriend, and paralympic champion, Oscar Pistorius.

Skylar Neese - Neese was stabbed to death by former friends, Rachel Shoaf and Sheila Eddy, after the pair convinced Neese to hang out with them - despite their falling out.

BREAKING, 31/05/2019: Active shooter confirmed at government building in Virginia.

-At least one person was killed and six others injured.

-The shootings took place in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

-The shooter is in custody.

-The shootings were consigned to building two of the Municipal Centre in the city.

-The FBI and ATF are responding, alongside local police.

-There will be a police-press conference in around half an hour.

-There are reports that there are multiple fatalities.

-Area hospitals have received at least five people.

-Visitation at the Virginia Beach jail has been cancelled for the time being as police respond to this incident.

Each day of his trial, Jeffrey Dahmer was escorted to court handcuffed in a wheelchair because the leg irons that he wore were so heavy that they made walking impossible. One day, as he was being wheeled to the courtroom, a woman passed him in the hall, and recognizing who he was immediately uttered a bloodcurdling scream. Unperturbed, Dahmer muttered “ i guess i should’ve shaved. ”

On July 27, 1978 Ted was charged with three counts of attempted first-degree murder and two counts of burglary, as well as the two counts of first-degree murder. Bundy was given a copy of the indictment which he tore up after being led back into the elevator to be returned to his cell. 12 hours later he was given another copy which he tore up once again.

Lead Mask Case

In 1966, a young man was flying his kite in the Niterói area of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil when he made a grim discovery. Lying in a secluded spot, were the bodies of two men. The deceased men were clad in formal suits, raincoats, and, the most bizarre aspects of this case, had strange lead masks placed over their eyes. Next to them, was an empty plastic water bottle with a note inside that read “4:30 pm: Be at agreed place. 6:30 pm: swallow capsules, after effect, protect metals. wait for mask signal.” Despite their itinerary, an autopsy revealed that no toxins were present in their system, and that a cause of death “could not be determined” So who, or what, killed these seemingly ordinary men?

The two victims were both electricians and came from the small town of Campos dos Goytacazes, several kilometres away from Rio. Three days before they were found, Viana and Cruz left town, telling friends and family that they needed to purchase some materials for work. Police determined that this is when they purchased their raincoats from a local store, and their bottle of water from a bar. Upon being interviewed, a waitress at the bar claimed that Miguel was behaving strangely, and frequently checking his watch. This was the last time they were seen alive.

Theories range from alien abduction to foul play, with many people believing that the government had something to do with their murder. It was later discovered that the men had been involved with a spiritual group that focused on contacting aliens through the use of psychedelic drugs, which may explain all the bizarre aspects surrounding this case. Despite all this, poorly conducted autopsies and a lack of care from the police mean that this case remains unsolved.

Robert Melson was executed on Thursday, June 8th 2017 at Holman prison in Alabama for the murders of Nathaniel Baker, Tamika Collins and Darrell Collier during the course of a robbery in 1994. A fourth victim - Bryant Archer, was shot five times, but was able to crawl to a phone to call for help, and identify Melson’s partner as one of the attackers. Melsons’s execution had been stayed by the Federal appeals court a week prior to the scheduled date to consider petitions by his attorneys to determine whether Alabama’s three-drug cocktail method is unconstitutional. In 2016, Alabama death row inmate Ronald Smith reportedly coughed and heaved for thirteen minutes after being administered a lethal injection. After consideration, Melson’s stay was denied at that level. On the date of the execution, his attorneys filed several more petitions for a stay from the Supreme Court, on the same grounds as their earlier appeals. SCOTUS’s consideration of these appeals called for a stay just fifteen minutes before it was scheduled to begin, and delayed proceedings for a couple of hours. Ultimately, the Supreme Court ruled that the execution could proceed. When asked if he had any final words, Melson shook his head no. A prison chaplain then knelt with him. After being given a lethal injection, Melson’s hands quivered, his breath became labored with his chest moving up and down rapidly, and then he was still. He was pronounced dead at 10:27pm CDT.

The execution was witnessed by the mother and two sisters of Tamika Collins. In a statement, Mrs. Collins said, “He has been on death row for over 21 years being supported by the state of Alabama and feels he should not suffer a little pain during the execution. What does he think those three people suffered after he shot them, leaving them in a freezer?”

Robert Melson was the second death row inmate to be put to death in Alabama in 2017, and the thirteenth in the United States.

On the 10th of April, 2002, Alisa Allen saw a man naked and covered in blood running down the street in East Los Angeles. She called the police and went to the home of her neighbour and friend, Tynisha Ysais. When she opened Ysais’ apartment door, she was met by a horrific scene: the mutilated body of Ysais.

As it transpired, the man running down the street was Antron Singleton aka Big Lurch, an American rapper. Singleton’s stage name was inspired by Lurch in the Adams Family; Singleton was 6 feet 6 inches. During his career, Singleton worked with other rappers such as Luni Coleone, Mac Dre, and RBL Posse. Singleton’s dreams never came true and he struggled to stand out amongst the other rappers of his time. In 2000, Singleton was hit by a drunk driver and sustained a broken neck. Following his release from hospital, his pain continued and he discovered other ways to alleviate his pain.

On the 19th of April, 2002, Singleton and Thomas Moore were smoking PCP. Singleton often smoked PCP to relieve him from his pain. Singleton knew Moore from the music business. The following day, Singleton realised that he had ran out of PCP; he drove to Moore’s house to purchase some more. Moore wasn’t home but his girlfriend, Tynisha Ysais, was there. When she refused to open the door, Singleton shoved his way in. When Ysais started to scream, Singleton beat her until she was silent.

Singleton searched the apartment for PCP but was unsuccessful in locating any. Anger overwhelmed him and he ran to the kitchen and grabbed a butcher knife. He then plunged the knife into Ysais’ chest over and over again. When Ysais was deceased, Singleton sliced open her chest, grabbed her right lung, and proceeded to eat it. The pathologist would determine she had numerous stab wounds, had a broken neck and jaw and a fractured eye socket. Afterwards, he stripped naked and ran from the apartment where he was spotted by Alisa Allen.

Antron Singleton was going guilty of first-degree murder, torture and aggravated mayhem. He was sentenced to life imprisonment without parole.
