do you know of any ya featuring a transboy, practically on overcoming dysphoria?

2020 is really The Year of The Transboy in YA, particularly those written by trans guys, but right now there’s Spy Stuff by Matthew J. Metzger, On a Summer Night by Gabriel Vidrine, When the Moon Was Ours by Anna-Marie McLemore, Something Like Gravity by Amber Smith, and Not Your Villain by CB Lee, to name a few. I don’t think any of them are really centered on overcoming dysphoria, though, but I suspect that’ll be much more present in ownvoices books (as only the first two of these are)...

Digging in to a new book

I’m trying to find this book it’s a wlw fantasy book with dragons and I cannot find the name of it anywhere if you be so kind as to help me narrow my search down that would be great

Hm well I did do a rec list of fantasy books with dragons before, so maybe it was one of those? Besides those on the list there’s also Of Gryphons and Other Monsters and Of Dragon Warrens and Other Traps by Shannon McGee (we read those in the book club recently).

Awww I love that Coffee Boy by Austin Chant, and if you like fantasy, try his Peter Darling, too. EE Ottoman is a great choice for historical (both realistic and fantasy) - try The Doctor’s Discretion or A Matter of Disagreement. A Magical Realism YA I love is Avi Cantor Has Six Months to Live by Sacha Lamb, but tw for suicidal ideation. For lighter fare, try The Burnt Toast B&B by Heidi Belleau and Rachel Haimowitz, and for something leaning more toward erotica, try What It Looks Like by Matthew J. Metzger.
