Yeah, especially since the game is in early access. So they could just focus on what they want to do / put into the game and then possibly add in player requests once the game is officially out. 

But they go the extra mile and include player requests and take feedback into account to make the game better. Or just add in little “quality of life” things or little details that serve no purpose but just nice to have. Like.. another player request was the ability to sit in chairs, that you could already craft, and that was added in during the update last June (along with having pets).

Like this is such a silly thing that doesn’t serve a purpose gameplay-wise... but the fact it’s now in the game it’s just nice to have.

Same, I don’t have arachnophobia... but it’s such an attention to detail for anyone who might want to play but do. Like the whole game you are fighting and killing insects to survive you can’t just leave out spiders. 

And 2 months ago, Obsidian put out a big update that features more stuff into a hazy poisonous area, a “desert” biome (aka a child’s sandbox) that has new dangers, the top of a picnic table (that has a parody of D&D on it), and a trash pile. 

Not to mention, and it being in early access, Obsidian listens to player feedback and will add things that players would like to see / do. Like for example: players wanted to be able to have Aphids and Weevils as pets because of how cute they are. And that was added in during the update last June that was part of the 1 year anniversary for people playing.

Like all the insects are cute in their own way.. and you can definitely tell that the inspiration for their appearance is from Disney’s A Bug’s Life.

Hell, even the spiders have a “cute charm” about their appearance despite being hella scary when you aren’t expecting one to show up and it’s suddenly near you.

also I’m currently in Creative with Bugs mode so I whipped together a base of operation to protect these little guys because they can die from other insects that normally target them.

LOL, but yeah.. here’s a little bit from the Grounded wiki page for the inspiration behind the game:

The team watched films including Disney's A Bug's Life and Honey, I Shrunk the Kids in order to get inspirations. To know more about different types of insects, the team also watched long featurettes at YouTube produced by insect enthusiasts. The team chose the backyard as the game's setting as the team felt that it is a recognizable and approachable location. Also, they believed that a backyard can also be "larger-than-life" and have a "real sense of danger".

The game can played in single player or with up to 4 people for some co-op fun... and to give you an idea of what the second movie is about here’s a little synopsis of the game’s story is from the wiki page: 

Set in the 1980s, the story follows a group of teens who must unravel the mystery behind why they have been shrunk to the size of an ant.

It’s basically a video game version of the movie “Honey, I shrunk the kids” meets Disney’s A Bug’s Life right now since there’s not much of a main story. But it’s made by Obsidian Entertainment. And it was “released” to early access July 2020... but it’s the people who made Fallout: New Vegas, South Park: The Stick of Truth, and The Outer Worlds. 

They made some other quality games but those are the ones that I know of or have actually played.

And to add to this... there’s even an option in the settings for people who have arachnophobia. 

there’s different "levels” for it.. but the highest one makes spiders look like this

“Otherwise, I’d just make him some soba and get him cat related shit.” Yes, he surprisingly paid enough attention to Todoroki to know that he liked cats. It was a shock to him too.

Izuku was thinking of something having to do that was soba related. He even held in his hands a custom made soba bowl that had Todoroki’s initials engraved on it.

“I was thinking something like soba related that’s why I got this made for him to use but I figured since it’s his birthday so there should be more to it than just ---” He started rambling barely hearing what the other was saying, but stopped when Kacchan recommended something cat related as well. 

“Yeah, we can get him a cat statue for his room? Or maybe a cat keychain so that he can carry it places? Or.. maybe a shirt with a cat on it for him to wear?” And now he’s starting to ramble again and name off other cat related items that could be gifts.

Izuku was about to comment about how what happened at the hospital raid hadn’t been his fault. No one could’ve predicted anything that had happened there. However, the moment Kacchan was mentioned, the green haired teen froze up. 

“.....Kacchan...” 

That had been part of the reason why he didn’t tell Kacchan to his face when he left U.A. and only left him a letter about it. 

If he had been stronger... or faster ... Kacchan wouldn’t have needed to jump in and get hit protecting him.

A pink hue starting to cover his cheeks as she continued what she was doing and saying about him teaching her about dolphins and how they were sexual animals. 

“I... ah... t--teach y--you how hu--humans do it?” 

He stammered out, nervously. The pink hue getting darker and the more he thought of doing explicit things with her. “A--are y--you o--okay Ura---uraraka-san?”

She had to be sick, right? Or maybe she got hit with a Quirk that was making her act like this? 

       That had to be it... 

This had to be someone’s Quirk affecting her.
