I did an illustration for Trans Day of Remembrance today at work.
Our little community contains so much anger and grief, but it's because we love each other so fiercely. We remember our dead because their memory keeps us stubborn.
For everyone here on my Tumblr I need y鈥檃ll to stop what you鈥檙e doing and really lock in to the genocide happening in Gaza right now. I will post as many links as I can but the best you can do right now is be loud as fuck! About this.
TLDR Isreal has cut off all water, electricity and telecommunications within Gaza in a complete blackout and Gaza has lost their voice. Israel has already threatened to bomb Al Shifa hospital, which is currently a shelter for around 50k-60k Palestinians. These are images of Gaza Strip from an HOUR AGO. They are literally slaughtering and wiping out generations of Palestinians as we speak.
Please I need to see y鈥檃ll talking about this and being loud for Palestine. Your anime yaoi twink hyperfixation will still be here tomorrow but literally thousands of innocent people may not.
Gonna start uploading these daily! They're all up on my ko-fi to download if you dont wanna wait five days tho! Feel free to use em as wallpapers or smth, hope people think they're cool haha!
Forgot to upload this one lmao, it's a doozy so the details probably won't be super visible. I've put this up on my ko-fi so you can download it and see it proper if you like! (no need to donate it's up there free to see)
I have some more pirate stuff in the works so hope folks like the designs, you'll see more of em soon!
No time for my usual daily drawings this October, so I'll be reposting old art from my personal project "Ensouled" every day (what time I have is gonna go to writing instead). To start, here's some early explorations from around 2017-18. I was (and still am) experimenting a lot with the visual style.
Because most of my drawing time is spend either mimicking others' styles or drawing non-human characters, I have no innate sense of what "my" way of drawing humans is. The top collage is one of my favorite drawings, and is, I think, as close to what feels like a personal style. But it's very hard for me to stay consistent, and not slip into overworking things. For the three sketch pages, I was looking at Franco-Belgian cartooning styles to capture more stylized proportions and energetic linework. There's a lot here I like-- I think it'd be worth revisiting these looks as I keep studying.
