2021 Mrs. Wisconsin America and Miss Wisconsin for America Strong Pageant
Wausau/Mosinee, WI – I had the opportunity to judge for the 2021 Mrs. Wisconsin America and Miss Wisconsin for America Strong Pageant on June 5, 2021. It was an honor to sit on the judging panel for all these lovely ladies competing for the coveted aforementioned titles.
As a judge, I am duty bound not to discuss the process beyond telling you that director Natalie Boyd ran a well organized and brisk pageant competition without some of the gobbledy gook that forces some pageants to run for 4 hours and put half the audience into a medically induced coma. This was just the competition and it ran like a Swiss watch as the pageant unfolded. Assistant Coordinator Michelle Weisheim (a former) assisted keeping things moving and getting us to where we needed to go. Emcee and Mrs. Galaxy 2020/2021 Crystal Cavey did a wonderful job keeping the show running smoothly with her trademark smile on her face the entire time.
In an exciting announcement, the Fabulous Face winners for Miss and Mrs. are being awarded trips to the national competition in fabulous Las Vegas, NV!
Joining me in the judging duties was Dr. Alexey Markelov MD, FACS, Jayne Black, and Carrie Reichartz and we had a wonderful time in the nice air conditioning as the competition (and the outdoors) heated up! We had a wonderful group of competitors, but in the end we needed to make some difficult choices and name our title and award winners, which follows:

Live streams have moved to Twitch
All of the TKPN Podcast Network programming has moved over to Twitch. Twitch is a popular live streaming platform that has featured primarily gamer type of streams but has been branching out to an ever expanding audience of podcasting and talk programs.
We’ve decided to move over to Twitch because it is the one service out there that was developed specifically for live streaming. Their tools should simplify our overall workflow in getting content to our viewers and listeners.
TKPN Podcast Network
To participate in our live chatrooms, you will need a Twitch account. If you just wish to view the stream, you do not need an account. Our presence on YouTube, Google Podcasts, iTunes, Pandora, Amazon Music, TuneIn, Stitcher and other popular podcasting locations will not be altered as part of the transition.
Most exciting for us is the opportunity to develop a community where we can hold chat parties while watching programming, such as Amazon Prime films or re-broadcasting episodes of our programming. Or even watching live television events. Also with the easier tools, I will be able to bring on guest hosts if ever needed which is something I have been striving for sometime, particularly on the PageantCast.

Tim's Advent Calendar brings holiday joy
Our Facebook page, Tim’s Advent Calendar, is taking off! This Christmas, our founder, Tim Kretschmann, launched a Facebook page offering new content each day in December leading up to THE BIG DAY. There are trailers for some of your favorite Christmas movies, there are music videos from classic and new Christmas carols, and there is original content as well.

Leading the original content is our friend, Bartholomew, Santa’s Second Elf. Bartholomew visits Tim every year starting the day before Thanksgiving. His recorded skits with Tim have been highlights throughout Tim’s broadcasting times on the radio and podcasting. He’s made appearances on his German radio show, Stimmung Stunde, first but migrated to appearances on the podcasts: PageantCast, Police on the Scene with a Crime Prevention Lean, The Christmas Stocking, and the TKPN Podcast.
Re-emerging from the vault are Tim’s “traditions” series. He recorded these traditions back for the Stimmung Stunde and they were extremely popular on that program. He is letting them back out of the vault this year for your enjoyment, so you can all learn the secret of the bullfinch.

Let's talk about women supporting women for a moment 👑 The pageant community here in Australia is quite small compared to that on the International scheme of it all. It's come to my knowledge today that bullying within the pageant community is currently an issue and it's simply not acceptable at any age! I have absolutely dealt with this issue throughout some of my pageant days and have often suppressed talking about it. My way of rising above the haters and naysayers is to simply ignore and move on. But enough is enough! There is a stigma around pageants but I can truly say that pageantry has helped me gain confidence, resilience and helped instil the value of hard work, all positive traits I have been able to carry across every area of my life personally and professionally. The girls and women I have met through pageantry are not only beautiful on the outside but have hearts of gold and work tirelessly within our communities, for charity, volunteering and fund raising across the board for many well deserved causes. Let's stand together regardless of age, sex, gender, religion, race or beliefs and say NO to bullying! Yes we all want to win the big shiny crown but there is so much more that every single boy and girl can take away from being on the pageant stage. Stay classy. @melissamalonelifestyle was 2nd runner up at the @mrsmainemissmaineforamerica that took place this past weekend. She took home the Most Photogenic and Fabulous Face awards.
