maybe I'm late on this realization but I'm working on a Toriel thing and writing about her friendship with Sans and it occurred to me that if Toriel had gone through with destroying the Ruins doors to keep Frisk from leaving, she likely never would have been able to talk to Sans again.

can you imagine? maybe she didn't think about that when she went to destroy the doors. imagine she had gone through with that, and then realized afterward—how am I going to talk to the guy through the doors again? how utterly devastating that realization might be, because I get the feeling Sans was something of a lifeline for her. she has the human child, but she lost that man through the door who told her funny jokes and made puns with her and made her feel like maybe life was still worth living. and now she has to wonder if the choice she made was worth it.

someone on my twitter timeline was being so damn aggressive about people who think Flowey is still a kid lol. their posts even had the implication that experiencing trauma and changing because of that trauma means you're automatically an adult. wow I must have become an adult at age 4 then, incredible.

I don't wanna say too much now until I know for sure that it's over but man the HELL I have been dealing with since early April has been so stressful I literally don't think I've ever had that much anxiety in my entire life. supposedly it has come to an end today but we won't know for certain probably for a few more days. I am like praying it really is over because I am so tired and I do not need this level of bullshit one singular month before Walls 2 Electric Boogaloo is supposed to come out.

I know Papyton Week is *technically* over, but it is still Papyton Week in my heart. Actually, I just hadn't finished this, and I wanted to give the folks who run the Papyton week blog credit for the prompts. It was an incredible week that was lots of fun, so I wanted to give credit where credit is due.

I hope y'all had as much fun as I did because I had a blast. I plan to reblog more stuff now that I'm not so deep in writer brain that I can't get out.
