I wish I was better at art because I wanna draw Astarion and my Tav being weirdos together but every time I try to do art it looks wonky and weird

Since Fallout is getting a resurgence I would like to say that I’m STILL disappointed that we can’t romance Deacon in Fallout 4

Anyway I deleted my fic
I’ve been debating deleting and revamping Flesh and Blood because I’m not liking how it’s going but tbh I might just straight up delete it because I know it’ll never measure up to the other Astarion/Tav fics in the fandom.

I keep forgetting about WIP Wednesday!
Anyway have a snippet of Aya getting mad at Astarion
(she’s mad because, well, it’s Astarion being himself)

Many fanfic writers and artists are just one bad day or one discouraging experience away from throwing in the towel and leaving your fandom.
If you don't want to risk this happening to a favorite creator of yours, today might be a good day to let them know how much their work means to you. :)

I am legitimately in the “pouring my soul into this fic but people don’t seem to care about it because there are better writers with better longfic ideas in the fandom I’m writing for so why should I continue” stage right now
Dear longfic writers
If you sometimes feel like it was pure, ridiculous hubris that you ever started a story that would take so much work and persistence to finish, I promise you, you’re not alone.
If you feel like you’ve already been writing forever and the “good bits” are still ages away, you’re not alone.
If you’ve been stuck for days or weeks or longer because you know what happens later but you don’t know what happens next, you’re not alone.
If you’re desperate to squeal about your beloved OTP but you feel like you can’t, because spoilers, and it’s driving you nuts, you’re not alone.
If you feel like you’ll never finish and you’re bound to fuck it up somehow, you’re not alone.
If you wonder if you’ve sabotaged yourself because who’s going to click through to a 28 chapter WIP, you’re not alone.
If you feel like you’ve been pouring your life into a single story for ages and will be for ages still and you don’t know why anymore because hardly anyone seems to care, you’re not alone.
If you can hardly even plan the further-away parts of the story or even think about them because thinking about them reminds you how absurdly far you still have to go and you get massive anxiety, please believe me.  You are not alone.

I have a BG3 Writers Discord like 99% ready to go but I’m slightly intimidated opening it to other writers because I know no one will join it so I’m just….whats the point I should just delete it

A part of me is tempted to give up on my BG3 longfic.
I know “write for yourself” but I also write because I wanna share this with other people and but tbh it’s not getting the engagement I hoped it would get.
I know it’ll never be as popular as *insert bigname Astarion/Tav fic/author here* or *insert other bigname Astarion/Tav fic/author here* but still. It’d be nice to feel seen, you know?

BG3 Fic: Tension Relief
Title: Tension Relief Pairing: Astarion/Aya Series: Baldur's Gate 3 Rating: E
It all started with that damn arcane tower.
While everyone was inside searching for the ingredients that made up Omeluum’s potion, Astarion wandered outside. There, he discovered a garden, illuminated by the light of the sussar tree that bloomed nearby.
*****
Astarion runs into a problem and tries to hide it. Unfortunately for him, Aya finds him and offers to help.

Astarion, drawn in by its beauty, went over to investigate. The surrounding plants practically glowed against the contrasting blackness of the Underdark. He bent down to inspect a mushroom when it exploded, releasing a puff of spores into his face.
Gasping in surprise, Astarion accidentally inhaled the toxic cloud.
At the time, he thought nothing of it. Since it was nothing to worry about, he decided not to tell anyone what happened to him. Astarion told himself the spores were most likely safe, that if they were dangerous, he would probably be dead, or at the very least, violently ill.
Until now.

Title: Flesh and Blood - Chapter 9 Pairing: Astarion/Aya Series: Baldur's Gate 3 Rating: E Summary:
Once upon a time, not long after she had healed from the injuries she sustained when she got assaulted, Aya promised herself she would never cry over another man again.
Unfortunately, thanks to Astarion, she broke that promise, when she cried after he turned her down that day by the river.

Aya and Gale have a conversation and secrets are revealed.
--------------
Once upon a time, not long after she had healed from the injuries she sustained when she got assaulted, Aya promised herself she would never cry over another man again.
Unfortunately, thanks to Astarion, she broke that promise, when she cried after he turned her down that day by the river.
Now, once again, Aya let the tears flow as she lay on her bedroll. How could she have been so stupid? Astarion already made things clear.
“I believe we should wait. At least…until this dreadful parasite business is taken care of and we no longer have to worry about turning into mind flayers.”
Yet here she was, making a move on someone who wanted to keep her at arm’s length.
Although, Aya wondered what Astarion saw in her that caused him to change his mind so quickly. She desperately wanted to speak to him about it, but she could tell he was a man who didn’t open up easily.
Aya drifted into a fitful sleep and awoke the next morning feeling physically and emotionally drained. She wanted, needed, to speak to someone, to unburden herself, but who could she go to?
